Try running the game with the lowest settings (i.e. 0 overall detail, 0 damage effects, and 0 velocity blur), just to see if it has some effect.

But, it has great potential in being a unique mod in Lugaru 2 (If you know how to do that type of thing) I doubt it, since I would probably need access to the game engine to add recourses for the game to use as well as specify bullet speed and those sort of things. I also have no idea what language...
