Safari and Firefox are actually nearly the same. All of the thumbnails don't wrap, so they're in one giant line, breaking the tables. Maybe if you put a space between each one it would wrap correctly. You could fix it if you like, I'm pretty sure you have ftp access. I'll do it tomorrow when I'm ba...

Nice assumption, but I have a new 15" Powerbook, and it certainly skips on some movies and the audio sometimes gets out of sync. In fact VLC displays a prominent message box saying that some frames had to be skipped. Same thing happens on David's Powerbook. (This is while it's plugged in.) I h...

I can't believe 8 is the record. Once David releases Lugaru, it will skyrocket.

Skipping? Out of sync? No, Apple DVD player is very good... I am afraid that you are... ...Wait! You didn't mean you are watching something like DivX on the Mac? No, should be my imagination. I watch divx video's on my 933 Mhz iBook G4 all the time. Runs perfect for me with no glitches whatsoever. ...

i don't know. Cocoa is very easy to program with, much better than anything windows has, except possibly RealBasic (which can't do half the things cocoa is capable of). On the other hand, opengl has much more resources on the internet. I believe that the only reason windows is more popular is becau...

DID YOU JUST SAY WINDOWS WAS GoOD FOR PROGRAMING? Darwin is so much better (I'm not commenting on Xcode).
Also, Windows is much easier to develop for. David will vouch for that one, who I think has a bit more experience than you.

Why do people say that Macs are good at multimedia? That is total bullshit. There are like two somewhat reasonable media players for OS X (mplayer and VLC) and both are crap compared to the huge library of options available for Windows, and their compatibility and performance is also pitiful. I have...

Re: david

It seams to me that David will never have the time or experience to release a commercial game especially by himself. One person simply does not have all the experience in all the fields that are required to make a salable game. I appreciate David’s efforts and I'm content with his games. They are s...

Re: Hmm why again?

On the topic of pc's having more mouse buttons (that has no relevance on whether pc's or macs are better or worse) A basic user who has no use for a two button mouse is happy. A big part of the user base does NOT spend 24 hours a day playing halo, call of duty, or any other games for that matter. A...
