Anyways, I would say that for most purposes macs are easier to use, but for game development I am starting to lean towards PC's. No, please, don't! Do you really want to abandon your native platform, to leave all your faifthful fans behind, to work for Microsoft and earn millions like Bungie did? W...

Most companies use ati/nvidea chipsets but the cards themselves are manufactured by all kinds of companies... ( ... Leadtek, Matrox Parhelia, ELSA, Apollo... .) Matrox Parhelia is not a company, it's a video card. Capable of supporting 3 monitors. The devil is in the details, right? Yes, it's a pit...

For me VLC never failed. I can watch any movie without glitches. Also DivX codec for QT works at times.

I was expecting some insider info about David's new games... Like
"Crazy fighter anthropomorphic pirate bunnies fight some wolf ninjas from the land of the rising sun."

Or even something original.

Why do people say that Macs are good at multimedia? That is total bullshit. There are like two somewhat reasonable media players for OS X (mplayer and VLC) and both are crap compared to the huge library of options available for Windows, and their compatibility and performance is also pitiful. I hav...

Was THIS a mindgame?

Russian Federation? [Either that, or it's some US state that voted GOP in 2000 and Dem in 2004... but few of those have missiles aimed at Washington.] Last month a worldwide survey was conducted by the UN. The question asked was: Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food...

Games I'd like to play

Hi all! You know, I've always been dreaming of playing games on my Mac. Different games. Here I'll name some old /or not/ ones I wish to see for the Mac. I can only dream, but then, it's christmas time?.. 3d Blur. It was made for UDevgames contest and I think it was great. Actually, I loved it. Well...

Yeah I would be posting screenshots of the colored version but unfortunately for us all both Lugaru and SOS will Not allow snapzproX to take control of the screen even for a couple seconds. IF i use mac OS X's built in screenshot feature I just get a scrambled screenshot and with snapzpro I just ge...

Well, Lugaru needs a fine tuner because you can't fine tune at all, or delete objects without deleteing everything you placed after them. Yes, object-deletion is great. I realized that yesterday, after making an exceptionally beautiful arena-level (for my gladiator rabbit campaign, though it may ne...

You should wait till Lugaru is released to the public + several months. Then this priject may gain attention. And then... Lugie would be better.

Axis of Evil. 1/6 part of the land. Once colored Red, now not. But missiles are still aimed at Washington (city or state? both). Get it?

And the worst thing is that stuff about missiles is true. :(

That description would be from a text game trying to imitate a 3d action game, which just won't work. 3d MMORPGs cannot have anywhere even vaguely close to the level of roleplay that text games offer. Actually, that's a description from an adventure game. While it's fake it is just like most of INF...
