There's randomness for ya.
I really doubt that.
I know, I know...

I'll amend it to: "There's paraphrasing Metal Gear Solid for ya!" :P

Game and Watch (either NES, SNES or both and Gameboy) - Due to Mario and Zelda, this is not very well known but, it was one of the first, if not the first game series that was just a bunch of mini-games put together into one package and still had the same character for all of them, Mr. Game and Wat...

I agree with a previous poster that HL2 deserves a spot on the list :D one of the most atmospheric shooters I've played. Episode 1 was also a lot of fun, if a little short. Best bits of Ep1: -After going out into a dark area then going back into the light area to recharge your flashlight- Alyx: *sti...

also, is L&R basically a more graphically appealing version of BFD or is there some big difference in gameplay...and I never played very far into BFD...does it have the WWII level? It's a more graphically appealing version of BFD. Although they played around with the tutorial a bit so that the fryi...

Mario RPG (SNES) Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars _is_ on the list. My bad ^^; Still, Mario and Luigi (Superstar Saga and/or Partners in Time) and Dragoon should make an appearance in there. Mario and Luigi elaborated on action commands by doing double team (or even quadruple team in the ...

Mario RPG (SNES), The Paper Mario series and the Mario & Luigi series deserve to be on the list. Also, Legend Of Dragoon for the PS1 needs to be on there. Noticing a pattern yet? Here it is: They're all RPG games, but all of them incorporate an "Action Command" (Or "Addition" in LoD) system, in whic...

I'll have to think about it. However, at the moment I think I'll stick with 2D sprite games (I'll probably try making my own one after completing the book I'm reading.) That and I've always wanted to make a sidescrolling shooter like Metal Slug xD

Drifting from forum to forum x3

Hey, I'm back after a small hiatus... And guess what? I'm learning programming xD I found a book today while shopping titled "Game Programming For Teens" which teaches people to program using the Blitz programming language. It's not much (you could say it's pretty BASIC :P) but it's a start. Once I'...

Nope, it's Nariko from Heavenly Sword.
Wow, I could've sworn that was Alyx as well.

In fact I pulled off a bad pun earlier when looking out for the courier with my Paintball mask (I bought myself a "Headshield" paintball mask for the game I'm going to either this weekend or some point next week so that I had extra head protection). I noticed a van coming up the street named "Thistl...

… … … …I thought 128MB was the highest available graphics card? I've never even heard of such an overpowered graphics card! Actually they're getting much more powerful, I've seen 768 MB graphics cards. But they're all PCI-Express. I doubted the existence of a 512MB AGP card until eventually...
