Putting the debug commands into a proper context would be sweet. It could make you feel like a god who was shaping a new world. I always liked the DM mode in Neverwinter Nights. Invisible, super-fast, could place creatures in the 'void', possess them, spawn monster groups, place and change static ob...

Yes, BWS, we both have more intelligence in our ass-cheeks than you have in your entire body. So get over it. I really hope this isn't a challenge… Well, if it is, then you're the one who threw down the gauntlet. Don't start fights you don't intend to win, etc, etc, stupid cliche stuff... blah blah...

Yes, BWS, we both have more intelligence in our ass-cheeks than you have in your entire body. So get over it. Back on the off-topic: I meant with a sword, but you are right. I do have to say though that making suggestions for L2 based on things that weren't in L1 is definitely underestimating David....

Whoa...

Now that's some free-roaming!

But in most free-roaming games you generally have to contend with natural obstacles, such as mountains. They don't necessarily stop you going where you want to, but they can make it hard to just beeline from one point to another.

Well, a vertical attack isn't a chop... just like a diagonal attack isn't a slash. But let's leave technicalities alone for now. Vertical attacks aren't possible in L1, no. But a chop is. It's the standard attack. I'm not so sure about the Slain! while rolling thing. It's hard enough to grab a knife...

Zu-wah? Forgive my ignorance, but wtf is fl0w?

Yeah, Morrowind can get really tedious after a while... that's why I got the PC version. Mods are sweet.

Dragging, throwing, disarming... It's all good 8). Congratulations on walking away (relatively) unscathed from a knife-fight, Coli. And I actually like the idea of a dodge, counter, grab kind of situation... But interestingly your mention of a 'grab' key gives a small amount of credence to my idea.....

Zomg! No way! I thought this was for Lugaru 1! I thought david could not be assed making another game! No way... Boy was I wrong... Careful, Coli, too much sarcasm can lead to, like, breast cancer or something. Besides, I wasn't reading properly, since I didn't have a whole lotta time. What about S...

I find the poll question too vague to answer properly... I have yet to find an MMORPG that I would say is good, yet there's a few I like, and a few I don't, and the rest I just can't be bothered playing. But I don't hate (or like, come to think of it) MMORPGs in general. No vote. Aww. PS: RS is teh ...

I'm still a bit confused about the 'free roaming' Would that be, a zone system, where you can freely wander the world, but have to do quests to fulfil objectives. Or would it be the capability to move between levels as you like. Kind of Fable-esque. To clear up your confusion: A 'zone' system is mo...

What if you could sheath you're shield (F) and if unsheathed you could pick/drop it (R) if unsheathed you can block fists, swords, knives, but not staves. You could also do it Zelda style - when you sheath your weapon, you also sheath your shield, and when you press defend you quickly pull it out a...

Nope... In fact you can't actually roll backwards, at least not to my knowledge. It would be nice if you could though, as an alternative to the handspring found in L1. Good acrobats can roll over backwards, so it only makes sense that Turner, who can leap from insane heights, do backwards handspring...

I was thinking more along the lines of right-mouse button... but your idea can work too.
