it could, but imagine playing sim city (about the same ui complexity, I think) on a console.

how about a (small) mario clone? it should be doable with Quartz, and the hardest part will be graphics.

jeff: a couple things.

1. Are you using OpenGL? That'll speed it up.
2. Are you using ONLY Obj-C? that'll slow it down.
3. if this is supposed to be demonstrating your skill at cocoa, you might want to make something that has a user interface. Like a Sim City clone.
