MacWiggy, did you just call me a moron? I am extremely close to banning you from wolfire.com, so if you want to stay here, quit acting like a three year old. Every single one of your posts continues to be fueled by pre-teen angst, chanelled into obnoxious, argumentative drivel, that frankly makes m...

Exactly the reason I don't use flash: Too flashy. Anyway, I'm not going for that kind of look. I want something simple, and the reason I'm doing this whole thing is to familiarize myself with browser code/scripting, so I can eventually move on to more complicated coding. (And possibly finally ...

(Yes, it's pretty useless, but (flash) gives you internet street-cred) Uh... I think it gives you the opposite of internet street cred. People tend to hate flash. ^^ Good to hear, I'm not paying for flash. (Jeff double posting? The end must be near!) Just kidding... I looked at the buttons o...

I got some word that they should be a smaller size, I went down to 800x600 and they're HUGE. But, what I meant about compessing was that I literally don't know what to do. For that matter, what's a codec? :P

Well, if you let the page load, the buttons will light up when you mouse over.

@rudel-How would I go about compressing the images? I made them in photoshop, which might be a problem, but I'm not sure how to compress them without seriously hurting the quality.

Yeah, but it's really only noticeable on the blender button. I think I'm gonna keep it like it is for now, at least until I get a better idea for a theme or something. I might add some javascript to the Lugaru page so you get different messages after 5, 10, 15 seconds. (Though I doubt anyone would s...

Website

I'm making a website from scratch with html, css, and a tinge of javascript. Just for kicks, I'd like to know what you think. My site I have to force myself to use [] instead of <> to get the bbcode to work! It's confusing... Also, bug report: The image map of the iMac G5 on the Apple page doesn't w...

How to: Reversals

Yes, I'm posting another completely unnessecary "How to" so that I feel like I'm doing something for the community. :P Reversals are tough for people new to the game. I would completely avoid them, and thought of them as something only the enemy could do, like how only the player can flip,...

Yeah, my tactics have changed a lot since I wrote this topic. Now I'll usually, if I have a knife, try flip-throwing or regular throwing and then knocking them down and yanking it out. If I don't have a weapon, I'll usually double-flip to confuse them, then leg cannon them into the nearest hard plac...

Make sure that you set your tint to 1 1 1 before you apply clothing, red might be the default. It doesn't sound like Shan's disease. If this doesn't work, send a picture of it. EDIT: Wait, by skins do you mean actually editing a skin or making new clothing bitmaps? If it's completely new it might be...

@Silb: Thanks for fixing the skin, whatever you did. By the way, mine's also immune. I didn't notice a problem with Shan... maybe it's just macs.

Anyway, how do you like it now that Silb fixed it?

If anyone wants the .psd to edit and has photoshop, I'd be happy to give it to them.

I see how that could be a problem... But how do I change it to RGBA? When I go to photoshop to save, the box with alpha channels is unchecked and grayed out. :?

Fox skin final release

No more "in progress," here's something you can actually use. I'm releasing a final version of the fox skin. Sorry it took so long; as I worked on my campaign I completely forgot about the boards. I want to keep you guys interested, so the fox skin is free to use, but if you make a map wit...

This one, but what I think happened, and the reason that everything kept defaulting to the same place like that, was because both times before I had accidentially triggered the beginning dialogue, and I think the enemies were moving so that they could end up in their places, even after I had delete...

I dunno, before the end of summer. My teachers heaped on the homework for the last couple of days, and school isn't out until the 21'st. The bug on the fox level got so discouraging I decided to quit for a while, unwind, and rediscover marathon, where someone from the forums has gone... (not me) Als...
