Re: Wolfire HALL OF FAME!

Oh, I must have forgotten to post the rest of what I was thinking.

It was something along the lines of how this thread is pointless, terrible, and has no reason for existing.

Re: Suggestion regarding enemy/NPC behaviour

Well, except for leaping over fences instead of walking around them and such. Speaking of this, Left 4 Dead's zombies could climb stuff... however, it was kinda strange how they would turn to the left/right suddenly then jump/climb on top of something even tohugh there's a clean path to you... The ...

Re: Are serial keys friend/family friendly?

Except it's not completely true. GTA IV and Spore made people jump hoops, and while there were lots of complaints and they are one of the most pirated games, they're also one of the most bought games. World of Goo lacked pretty much any DRM (you can even post online high scores with a cracked copy)...

Re: Are serial keys friend/family friendly?

I have been very interested in studying media piracy lately, and this is what I have to say: first off, I would heavily advise that the dev team read some RockPaperShotgun articles or stuff that Stardock has said about piracy. But I will provide my own arguments as well. The argument boils down to t...

Re: OG weapons

Yeah, I'm interested in how body damage is going to work. I've been taking some martial arts recently and a lot of the focus in self-defense is on disabling an enemy by breaking a bone and getting away. In a game as brutal as Overgrowth is undoubtedly going to be, I wouldn't be surprised if you coul...

I voted for Obama as an economic conservative, social libertarian, non-party affiliated.

He's pretty far from socialist.

Re: The crash-thread!

That's what I'm guessing, since that card probably doesn't support a lot of modern shader techniques. I'd wait for the team to officially answer though. Anyway, system specs: Windows XP Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13 GHz 2GB RAM GeForce 9600GT Think that's all the relevant info. Everything is working s...

Re: The crash-thread!

Doesent work for me either. When i open up the exe i wait like 10 second then a black window(DOS window) shows up and then The game's window itself with a grey color and then the final window, which reads "Lugaru 2 has encountered a problem, please contact windows bla bla shit..." What do...

Re: What mod would you make?

I've had an idea for a story for ages now, and I was working on a campaign for a while before I gave up because switching between working on my Mac and PC was quite annoying. Now that Overgrowth has more powerful modding tools, I'll probably be inspired to finish it. I'll have to dig up my old scrip...

Re: Blorx reviews 360 games

How old are you? This is a valid question when you review a game, especially its story. Your points about Dead Space's story are pretty invalid. If you think Halo invented all of those plot devices, you haven't been around for very long. Do you really think that Halo first began the idea of extrater...

Re: Wolfire Development Blog - Part 3!

I got the Development Blog added to TIGSource's DevRoll. I'm sure a lot more people than me are interested in the technical aspects of OG.
