Re: Heavy Rain...
God I want this game. I really really have been wanting to buy a PS3 just so I can play all of its amazing exclusives that all seem to be coming out lately. Not going to be getting paid until spring starts though... I played the demo for it at a friends and it was amazing. Apparently during the figh...

Re: My Grandaunt Died, Please Pity Me!
That was a very good response assaultman, thanks for that. I've heard that it was a good idea but for the most part i agree with your reasoning. As for the Ren/Endo arguement, I wouldn't say that it's impolite really. More like coaxing into something. Coaxing tends to be more of a gray area instead ...

Re: My Grandaunt Died, Please Pity Me!
I'm curious as to everyone's perspectives on therapy and psychiatry and the like. It seems one of the most major issues here is talking to someone who you do not really "know" to help vent or just talk about difficulties in your life. That's always been my impression of the point of therap...

Re: Neat little zombie game
I hated Left 4 Dead and I LOVE Left 4 Dead 2. Strange how things work out. Zombie stuff is one of my favorite topics for everything though, games, movies, books. This game seems interesting, the video looked like you have to manually make fortifications, though the character didn't really use them. ...

A Half-Serious Man an original screenplay concept by Me Western: A shell-shocked war vet teams up with a cute dog named Jake to find the true meaning of love. In the process they have mad passionate sex with a ghost. By the end of the movie they hijack 37 washed up ex-SNL cast members and end up win...

Oh hi Ted. I always wondered if you were on here somewhere. At least you used to be, lol.
Or I could be dead wrong but I find that too coincidental.

Re: Test your Brain
Bias is pretty difficult to eliminate completely. I can see just about the same amount of bias in a textbook as in a wikipedia article, it is slim to none. If a source is discredited because it is able to be changed by an idiot for 5 minutes, even though it is also able to be updated more frequently...

Re: Best/Worst game endings
I wish they went more into depth with the reaction of the characters in Oblivion, especially in regard to the ending. All anyone in the world says is, "Hey, you're that dude who helped the Emperor kill what is essentially Satan. Neato! Wow, and your the head of the Mage's guild, Thieve's guild,...

My math teacher once went on an intense rant about this. But yeah, many old roman numeral clocks use IIII. It just seems to fit better than IV, even though it is technically incorrect.

Time to go and watch Silence of the Lambs again, thanks for that lol.Renegade_Turner wrote:Was I supposed to imagine a woman making a coat, or a woman being the material which the coat is made of? I got this sick idea of a serial killer who murders young women and turns them into coats.

I always wanted to get into programming, there aren't any classes at my school though, at least not good ones from what I've heard. There's a C++ class but from what I can tell I do NOT want to begin there. Good luck though, programming seems to be an increasingly valuable skill to have.

There has to be at least 5 threads like this on the front page right now. I'm loving it.
Also, isn't this like the third time Starrz has done this? I know this has happened at least once and he left but I could swear he did it once before that too.

I played that game a few months back, that ending was definitely peculiar.I was pretty amazed how emotional it got.
