Re: Lockerz, a site for free stuff!

One thing to note guys: 9.PTZ expire on December 31 of each year, or sooner if the PTZ Place program is shortened or terminated. It means that you've got only another 5 months if you want to try to go for the bigger prizes. Edit: Okay... I'm getting a completely blank page on the page it took me to....

How long did that take you? And what exactly do you have to do?

Re: Black Shades is betetr on a Mac...?

I can't see why it would be better on Mac. It's the exact same game.

My thinking here is natural bias which leads you to believe that the things you are most familiar with are the best.

Re: Programmer Needed

Ah, I was thinking you might have meant that. I looked around for Zios, but couldn't find anything. (Hehe, by the way BigCheese....are you sure there isn't a way I can lead you to the dark side to join us? We have cookies!!) Unfortunately, I'm working on 2 websites and a few personal projects of my ...

Yeah, you could just raise the attack strength.

Re: Programmer Needed

You should be wary of creating your own game engine, especially since no one on your team is a programmer, and you'll be entirely relying on the people who you enlist. With all of the art help you have at the moment it'd probably be a lot easier to use a pre-existing one. Of course, that takes away ...

But where could I get the installer? I'm not using torrents, I used torrents and it fucked up my computer.
You just have to be smart about it. Only download ones that have lots of positive feedback, and have many seeders and leechers.

Re: Knife throwing

The only gameplay consideration I can think of is that the knife throwing would need to be manually done with a crosshair, as opposed to the automatic knife throwing of Lugaru. What I'd like to see would be you would hold the throw button to have the crosshair appear, and release it to throw the kni...

Re: Multiple Maps in OG Campaigns

There is big map and high detail in elder of scrolls: oblivion :P Oh god. You messed up the perfect 10,000 post number in the SPF. On topic, I think it'd be worth the extra memory to bump the map size up to 4096 (I think it's at 2048). I can't imagine it would take up too much more memory, an...

Re: Lockerz, a site for free stuff!

Sounds like BS to me, but nonetheless. Sign me up IwIn1990@live.com I'm sure it works great. The catch is that the surveys literally could take half an hour to complete for maybe a profit of 2 dollars (if you're lucky). I created a script that can fill them out for you, but I've found that it's a p...

Re: Lockerz, a site for free stuff!

First off, rewards1.com. Same thing basically, only the prizes really go up to a few hundred dollars.

Also, do you actually fill out all the surveys? Or do you use a script?

Also, if I start getting spam, you are to blame. shreddedcheddar(at)gmail(dot)com.

Re: Halp wif Halo D:

Ehhh I tried the patch. It says I need Halo installed for it to work. Sounds like I'm basically screwed. :/ If it's an illegal copy, how did you install it? Was it just by dragging files from a .zip, or did you run the actual installer with a crack? The second option would be your best bet if you a...

Re: Programmer Needed

I'd really recommend against trying to do multiplayer, at least not before the game has a good grounding. Mostly because of the extra costs it would take to host servers (unless you're planning on 2-5 players hosted on their own computers). You should build the game first, and then think about multi...
