Well damn. If you can't be in front you're pretty much screwed no matter what.

The stealth ideas would probably be only good things to implement. And I'd assume sidling against walls would hide you in shadows... good ideas. Thief 3 style. Actually, don't make it anything like Thief 3. Despite the fact that that was an amazing game,the stealth was far too easy. I am now agains...

That's cool, but how do we get the third person in on this?

If you were thrown off a cliff would you struggle and twist, or would you do your best to get in an upright position? I would choose the latter.
Now think if you're a highly trained ninja. Are you going to fall helplessly to your death or are you going to act as a highly trained ninja?

I feel the game, as it is, is worth what they charge, despite it being an alpha. I have absolutely no doubt that it will be worth what they charge by the end of development.

There are about 600 bow and arrow / other ranged weapon discussions on this forum. As the previous poster mentioned, there's a search function for a reason.

Adobe Flash? Hmm. I haven't dealt with Flash much.
Making Roguelikes in C++ is always fun. Perhaps you should look into that?

The in-game settings menu doesn't do anything yet. To change settings you'd have to use SUMlauncher , a community-made tool for updating the game and easily downloading user content. It's pretty awesome. As to your question about full screen . . . I've never quite understood how the full screen work...
