I was looking on a major download site (fileplanet? gameshack? what was it?) for a download of Indigo Prophecy and decided to browse "recent releases" under the games/downloads/demos category. Saw the interestingly-titled "Lugaru". Fighting rabbits. Looked ridiculous. I downloade...

I imagine it wouldn't be hard to add (God, how programmers hate to hear that line from the ignorant masses who can't fathom the weeks it really WOULD take to add things like this), since the parts are already (at least in Lugaru 1) somewhat divided, as evidenced by the proportion command, but then, ...

Man, I'm looking forward to these weapons just to try out the dynamics. I mean, consider the mere 3 weapons in Lugaru. They were so wildly varied from each other in virtually every way that even for such a small selection, that was enough. I hope Lugaru 2 doesn't lose sight of that concept and make ...

I agree. The original Lugaru's diversity and creativity with combat moves was what won me over (I originally downloaded it as a joke, but damn if I wasn't hooked by the end of the turorial), and in the sequel, it should be the main point of focus to expand the combat options. On a side note, imagine...

[Epic and non-epic] Assassin, Assault the Village, and everything David suggested would kick so hard, I'd be in orbit by now.

Add to that any RPG-themed multiplayer mode (the "build up your village" mode suggested by Kalexon, for example) would be perfect for the setting.

The damage effects are really nice. The motion blur and limping combined with the body damage model make for a really interesting sort of "health bar". Very nice.
The absence of any on-screen displays (save score) makes the game seem very involved.

Quick question, as I skimmed the sticky and the tweaking topic, and found no mention, have these been cleared up since? If so, please, do forgive my ignorance, but I'm interested in knowing if hotspots and dialogue have been clarified and confirmed functionally.
