Even in the case of hip tosses, you're still only contacting them in a specific move, not while moving freely, so you could still treat the point on the armor the way that weapons are already treated in the game. I don't mean to criticize the idea of sharp armor (it sounds like a cool addition to me...

There's a distinct lack of melody, the rhythm is rather off, and it's not exactly a pleasant sound to listen to.

Having the background showing through is a rather strange effect. It makes it seem sort of like the gun emblem is made of clear plastic or warped glass. That's not a complaint, though, just something I found interesting.

For the claws, you wouldn't need a "sharpness map" or anything if the like. You could just treat the feet (and/or arms) like a bladed weapon.

As for the armor, no character is going to run up to you close enough to impale themselves on your armor, so I don't see the point in it.

I'd suggest not opening it up in notepad. Wordpad should work, but http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ is probably a better route to take.

When considering lag, you have to realize that in this game, 200+ ping means it could easily take as long for your shot to register as for you to even react to an enemy. Nearly doubled reaction time is a serious impairment in a game that gets its fun from being fast-paced.

The first video ever uploaded to the Wolfire youtube channel showcases something like what you're talking about. Despite being the first video on the channel, it apparently hasn't been implemented.
