I also believe if you allow a spear to be throw more like javelin it sould be albe to fly a greater distance then other weapons

When you try to throwing any sort of weapon it start to rotate so fast it start to look unfeasible.
I believe the rotation of all weapons should be slow down when they are in the air. I also believe that the spear should little to none rotation and should be throw more like a javelin.
