Re: Post Your Screenshots!

Though despite all its nice traits I can't recommend it because the community is 90% toxic waste. There are ways to mute voice chat, and text chat too, but that's harder to do. They should have an option to do that much more readily available. The mean stuff people say makes me not want to play the...

New internal testing build out

Max has been learning how to release builds to Steam. Today he successfully released a Linux and Windows build to the internal testing branch on Steam. Feel free to check that out, especially if you're interested in the new mod path stuff which will be introduced in this coming alpha. He'll be getti...

Re: OGW Q&A with the developers

OGW 102 was just uploaded:

wake, there is a blog post made for every alpha. You'll be able to download it through Steam, Humble Store as well as torrent and HTTP from the SPF, just as usual. :)

Re: OGW Q&A with the developers

Thanks for the Hangouts On Air tip. I tested it out quickly a bit alone and it seems like it may be what I'm looking for! I tested out Rabbit last week and it didn't live up to the requirements unfortunately. EDIT: Tested Hangouts On Air today and it seems better than normal Hangouts for our purpose...

Re: Post Your Screenshots!

I guess you can think of it like this: The obvious alternative would be to have the entire screen follow exactly where the bullets land, however this is likely pretty annoying because your screen would move around much more (it still does move around a bit, just not as much as the recoil). It is als...

Re: OGW Q&A with the developers

bugmenot I have been looking for an alternative to Skype for a while so we tried out Hangouts for the last one. The biggest problem with Hangouts is that you can't treat your own view like everyone else's, so it will never focus on yourself unless I manually tell it to, which is why sometimes when I...

Re: Dear Old Growth Members, please hear out my plea..

I don't think that the thing with people being mean to new people is that big of a problem. It's gotten better recently and I think if we just keep trying to be nice and respectful to each other we'll all have a good time. In my opinion there doesn't seem to be much else to discuss on the matter. Am...

Re: OGW Q&A with the developers

Heres a question, what other games that are still in alpha or some prebuild before release that has influenced your current or future development structure? I keep up to date with RUST, which is a 1st person survival/shooter that seems to get lots of updates in, though, I agree, it should take long...

Re: Adjust fog color/ density for a map?

I don't know if there is a way to change the fog density. I think it's a bit weird how your skybox in the game doesn't really look like the actual skybox image at all. The fog really has the color of the skybox, it samples a blurry version of the skybox when determining what color the fog should hav...

Re: The Community- Negativity Irc chat +more

In OGW we try to keep an eye on the chat and answer any questions that come up. And in recent OGWs there is a written summary of the episode for those who do not want to watch it.

Sounds like a great idea to move the mod to ModDB Timbles!

I fixed up your bell a bit, optimized number of vertices, nicer texture, fixed normal map, added low poly collider. I hope you don't mind, halzoid. :)
