Re: Hatred: The Game From God
Your argument is 'you're dumb and a kid and all you say is dumb!' so you're being rather hypocritical here. More that a kid should appreciate that older people aren't pulling shit out of their asses but have much more experience and a stronger basis for their opinions. I haven't seen anyone analyze...

Re: Hatred: The Game From God
You fail to notice how they both have people who shoot back and innocents who don't Oh lord, I can't tell if you're actually this silly or a really dedicated troll going for the long con. Graphics, presentation, story, character motivation and more all make a difference in how the gameplay is perce...

Re: randomness
Phoenix has a hateboner for anything related to This War of Mine, I guess, since he seems to enjoy bringing it up for no reason to call it pretentious or entitled. Not sure why. I'd hazard a guess that it's mostly due to a combination of emotional immaturity, ongoing mental development, and a desire...

Re: Hatred: The Game From God
Statistically, a lot of people are still going to die. Especially if there's only ten people in the coffee shop and the first one to get shot is the only sane guy packing heat :P Preventing mass shootings isn't about gun restrictions or proliferation, it's about bettering our mental health system so...

Re: Hatred: The Game From God
That self-realization is a big part of growing up, so don't sweat it :) Game is too edgy, if there was ever a valid argument for the "video games cause violence" thing, this game is it. Yeah, over the top or no, it plays out like a prospective shooter's fantasy. If a mentally ill person en...

Being stealthy in Warframe requires a certain delicate touch, a subtlety which can only be mastered through hours of grueling practice and discipline.

Re: Hatred: The Game From God
There's no point in debating higher thematic concepts with someone with poor interpretation and shaky basal knowledge. You haven't got a logical foundation to build on. More importantly, you're likely at an age where you're too stubborn to ever accept other people knowing better than you on a topic ...

Re: Hatred: The Game From God
I think I figured out why I hate reading Phoenix's posts. Reminds me a lot of myself when I was a smartypants tween who was discovering the world of critical thinking and thought I had deep, profound, non-mainstream opinions about everything. Of course, looking back, I cringe pretty hard at any of m...

Re: Hatred: The Game From God
I'm not going to play it so I couldn't care less about the game. I'm irked by people trying to excuse it. It's just abundantly obvious that the developers wanted free publicity by being SUPER EDGY. That kind of gets on my nerves.

Re: Hatred: The Game From God
Just because they say it is satirical doesn't mean it's effectively portrayed as such. One can have the intent of creating satire and fail to do so. The intro is pretty cliche and generic, but the actual gameplay seems dedicated to detailed, gory execution sequences. The content shows that it is not...

Re: Hatred: The Game From God
There's currently a very obvious disconnect between playing a game and having gameplay transition over into real life, but you're right, with full-sensory immersion from VR, that line starts to blur. I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing ESRB ratings actually be enforced for VR game usage. Ma...
