Re: Over Growth RPG?
In theory level loading could be initiated inside another level. If you get near a side of the map you could start loading the content of the next map into ram. There'd still be a pause, but it wouldn't be as long. If you've ever played Might and Magic series, the map by map scenario works pretty we...

Re: [Suggestion]Audio Cues for the Blind
While I am not blind, this does sound like a pretty cool thing to have on there. Everybody seems to like the blind swordsman concept. My thoughts and ideas on the subject Exaggerating the wind strength would allow for relative directional navigation. I've walked through a field with my eyes closed b...

Re: Will overgrowth play on an ATI Raedon HD 3450?
It is unlikely, but may get very poor performance rather than none at all. That is a very elderly card these days and it was pretty weak when it came out compared to much of the competetion

In case it is relevant, debug mode does not work with the demo version.

Re: Lookout Tower
You have to do a crouch jump. Crouching and then jumping makes you leap higher. Pressing up(or whatever forward is for you) will make you jump higher and further forward than normal.
It takes practice to get the button timing correct.

Re: Lugaru Downloader
you do not NEED the downloader to use the campaigns. You can install them manually with only slightly more effort. The easiest method is make a backup copy of your lugaru folder, then download the campaign and copy the files into the correct folders. That's it other than running the game. You can fi...

Re: Blender
Will the blender based scripts ever be updated? They are useless with modern versions of blender above an elderly 2.55 beta.

Re: Lugaru Map Import / Export scripts for Blender
I understand :) As to modding, it takes a group to make a real mod. One person does one thing, another does another. Having to do everything by yourself is far too much work. Could be fun to get a group together here for one last campaign. One or two peeps come up with a story One guy draws a layout...

Being a furry, I don't mind that at all <laughs at your discomfort> The anthropomorphic characters are the reason I'm here at all. Still, the gameplay in lugaru was a lot of fun too.

Re: Lugaru Map Import / Export scripts for Blender
given the amount of work it is to actually plan one of these maps, I don't see myself doing another. I tried another cave maze a while back, but it was too frustrating. The first one was rather easy, surprisingly, but topping a first success is a pain. I used up most of my ideas when I made the firs...

Re: Lugaru Map Import / Export scripts for Blender
Does the script work with 2.62? I'd prefer not to have to have two versions of the same program installed.
Also, how hard is it to edit the script for newer versions?

Re: Broadside Express Continuation project
Control configuration as the game is absolutely unplayable with anything but qwerty keyboard layout and I will not subject myself to qwerty again. It looks ok, but I've never played more than making it go in a straight line.
