Do you still have this problem? I haven't seen this happening before. Only thing that can remove objects from the item browser is "find textbox" in there. But after you have either placed an object into game and opened object browser again or you have deleted "search box" content...

What you saved was a file that contains all the nececery parameters. All you have to do now is load that level again and load this saved .xml file useing load external file button. Then replace the original turner with this new one. Save the level and you are good to go.
