I think we should stop banning the bots by ip, they are using proxy and i have seen several cases of random new people getting banned for no good reason.

in settings you have to disable GPU skinning to fix that.

also the next alpha versions will fix the ingame settings.

Okay, the spam is still going strong. I just disapproved about 10 posts and it's only been a few hours since I last checked the forums. I'm happy to do my part in keeping the forums clean, but some sort of long-term solution really needs to be implemented soon. I'm sure I speak for other preorderer...

well then after a good night sleep i had to remove about 3 pages of bots it's not over yet

all we can do so far is to ban their names and wait for wolfire to change the forum registration system or something.

disapproved a page full of spambot threads... i think now would be a good time for wolfire to do something about it.

Is the spam war over? I haven't seen any spam posts. There haven't been any since this morning, but I wouldn't count it out as a possibility yet. there hasn't been, because i'm constantly on watch and disapproving everything i see, also writing up the names for a ban. today: 60 names got banned htt...

Sed's (Saedz on the forum) compiling a list of the accounts the spam is coming from. To those that are disapproving posts be sure to put something around the lines of "Username is x" (x being the username) in the "Further information" box. so it would be easier for someone with ...

i just had to remove about 10 spam bot thread then a hour later or something i had to remove 10 more... so that is a thing and wolfire guys should do soemthing about it.
