Re: When will overgrowth come out?
You should have researched what you were buying before you bought it. If you didn't, you lack sense. The devs probably will give you a refund if you request, out of good will. But they really shouldn't. After 2 years, you should most certainly know what you bought. Plus you've likely played on the a...

Re: Can I run Overgrowth
You likely can run the game now. 195 is awesome like that.
I would have said differently before yesterday.

Re: my computer specs will it run overgrowth?
If those smilies are indicating that you're being sarcastic and are certain that your PC can run OG, think again. Your graphics card quite plainly sucks. Don't expect much at all from it. It isn't necessarily good just because it's in the '7000' series. But you probably can play OG on decent setting...

Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher - 2.1.6
Found my issue. Kaspersky blocks all Java apps due to the vulnerability. I'd suggest you rebuild SUMLauncher with a non-Java code base since there is a major vulnerability but I assume you don't want to spend time doing that so I guess I'll just pause Kaspersky every time I want to update the Menu M...

Re: NEW MAP (CHESS GAME!!!)
Well, couldn't you for now just use the settings for scenery? Since 194, you should be able to set hotspots to move scenery. So why not just have another massive board next to the chess board with all of the settings in individual hotspots. Might take a long time to make and use but would be cool as...

Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher - 2.1.6
Can't connect to the SUM servers.
Had no issues before.
I've added SUMLauncher to my firewall's 'Trusted' group.(Using Kaspersky Internet Security 2013)
Not at all sure what the issue could be. The launcher fails to connect to the internet every time I try. Yes, my broadband works fine,

Re: Pre-A195 build system test
Lol last. Trying to tell Aaron how his own application works. Funniest thing I've seen all week, and I've seen some rather dismal things this week. :/ Anyway, I managed to download and install the build. But I got the error that was mentioned in the OP. The dlls fixed it though. Started the game and...

Re: Pre-A195 build system test
Download won't even start for me. It shows up, says 2 hours left, but won't even begin to download anything. Shows 0.0/1.9GB.
I guess I'll wait a while, then try IE or Firefox. I'm using Google Chrome by the way, on Windows 8.

Re: Switching OS
Overgrowth does support Linux and very well. Just go to wherever you normally download OG(Thread or Preorderer Panel) and download the version listed under Linux. It should be quite clear which version it is, but if you need help, feel free to ask and I can provide screenshots with visual instructio...

Re: Does anyone know when...?
The Wolfire team are not currently 'Optimising' the game. I don't even know why you are complaining, the last two alpha videos have all been around deep gameplay reworks/changes/additions. As far as I know the next major milestone for them to reach is the procedural Arena mode thing that is being w...

Is it destructible?
I want to wreck an American city. It'd be fun. (Since I'm naturally obligated to hate the hell out of America)

Re: Why Overgrowth on Linux is slow
Basically all the devs will say and all they will need to say is: No optimisations until beta. OG's still in alpha at the moment. The devs have said time and time again that it's not a priority to optimise the game until at least the beta stage as optimising reduces the modifiable code. (Not as much...

Re: [Map] Lush Tree Canyon
Saying that 'everyone' thought that Tree Canyon looks dried up and bland as a twig is a bit of an assumption. I thought Tree Canyon's style was great because it's unique and shows another side of Overgrowth. But it's great to see a brightened version just because now we can compare two very differen...

Re: OG makes my GPU squeal
Probably because OG's unoptimised. So your GPU might just be pressured to push out power and so the fanspeed increases to the point of making a loud squealing noise.

Re: Question about Prosessor Cores
1.73Ghz isn't at all high-end. The clock speed may not matter too much anymore, but it still matters. But frankly, until you get past the 960, the i7s aren't worth it. You likely could have gotten a good i3 or i5 or an AMD CPU for around the same price which would have worked a fair bit better. My P...
