Re: Black Shades ported to Windows

I loved Lugaru for Windows so much, I had to port Black Shades:
Great job! Thank You!

It works as promised. I'm not sure about keys like "constant slow-mo" though.

Black Shades... I can play it at work now!

"Will you be able to do X Random Situation" questions are annoying. I doubt there will be a full house building farm running family rearing simulation, could be wrong though. It's not about farm or family... It's about meditating while looking at water, at falling sakura... oops, wrong ga...

Lugaru 2 will definitely have survival elements; you will have to eat, sleep, and drink to survive, and these will not always be easy to do. Lugaru 1 had a even lower poly sword, but it was textured nicely and moving fast, and the mind has other things to worry about than the swords edge showing a segment now and then. The sword is looking great, but, perhaps, some polygon rearranging - making the handle even more low-poly and the addin...

David wrote:The Phoenix engine now supports a form of gloss map, which allows us to modulate the reflectivity of surfaces using the alpha channel of the texture. This means that we can easily render models that reflect light differently from different areas.

It'd be interesting to see it in action.

Agreed It's made with Flash. They are plain crazy, but for Flash it's a good job! And characters are fun. I chose that old man with a shovel... :) I liked this game. It's a nice timekiller, and, thanks to its turn-based battles, you have plenty of time to talk. What you expected, Final Fantasy, Eve...
