I wouldn't call PhysX middleware. It's a physics engine, like Bullet. However, it probably costs to use it in commercial software. Also, PhysX only works on NVidia GPUs, so AMD and Intel GPUs are out. There is a fork of Bullet that uses OpenCL, but it's not complete. Since OpenCL is vendor agnostic,...

My work on PCSXR
Just to let everyone know, I am a developer working on PCSX-R, which can be found here: http://pcsxr.codeplex.com. It's a PlayStation emulator. I mostly work on the Mac front-end. I have made a memory card editor, and implemented a net play interface.

There's a bug in 151 which seems to hang when loading a level. It'll probably be fixed next alpha, if they haven't fixed it internally yet.

I think if you're going to have a world map, you can have it that leaving the map you're in will bring up the world map for travel.

Try uninstalling Overgrowth and delete all Overgrowth data in Program Files (If using Windows) and your user directory.

The caches may have become corrupt. Try uninstalling, removing the Overgrowth settings and folders, and reinstall. Also: how much RAM do you have? Processor? Video card?

I've noticed that when the rig switches to ragdolls in the Desert Outpost level, the framerate drops. It's not that it's processing something; CPU usage across the four cores doesn't seem any different than regular gameplay. Edit: Oh right, specs. NVidia GeForce 8800 GTS. Intel Core 2 Quad 2.40 GHz....
