fuck that wilberfast, blizzard* had been developing starcraft 2 for several years before anyone ever saw anything about it. It's idiotic to compare the two companies; Bungie is in no way comparable (as a business) to wolfire.
*fixed.

Re: Age Group of OG
Depends on how you view yourself. If you treat yourself as an adult and behave accordingly (aka; try your best to act mature) then an adult.
I am most definitively not an adult, even though I am 18.

Re: Modder Protection
I mentioned this before, but think one of the reasons "Warcraft 3" was such a fertile modding environment was because all the mods were Open-source , so anyone could open up a " map " they liked and edit it.. Wrong. Warcraft III, like Starcraft, has map protection systems, so pe...

Yo so, um, you still didn't answer jeff's question to this whole circus; "Do you have any specific advice to us? I understand your point, which seems to be "wow, you guys are totally building this thing backwards, wtf! I would never run a project like you guys!" Are you advocating tha...

Re: The SPF, speculation and dissent
Yeah...I honestly don't think we really need more information right now (especially since the information we seek the devs don't even have themselves yet.) but my 2 cents says that Overgrowth, while the spiritual successor to lugaru, should be much more ambitious, and will hopefully have completely ...

Re: Rabbit martial arts: What does our rabbit use?
From my own personal bias, I'd like to see a little bit of generic tae-qwan-do (it has a nice, simple moves that look fairly impressive on their own. It's also easy to follow and pick up) and for staff/stick work, Philopino stick fighting/arnis/eskrima.

Re: Some questions..
Well no one can really speak for the devs (which is why I didn't reply to that question at first) but since they haven't replied yet, I'll give you my 2 cents; There's no way the developers at Wolfire, unless they get corrupted by the allure of quiznos, would choose money over making games people lo...

Re: You're just so Context-Sensitive!
Yeah, lugaru was rather limited in it's attack animations, for obvious reasons (David didn't have the animation editor back then ) and so the number of animations shouldn't be an issue when they create the Overgrowth combat model.
