ok cool

Hey, but I thought you still play San Andreas a bunch. Did it brake recently, or did you continue to play the game even though it wasn't as open ended as some people wanted it to be?

My copy of San Andreas worked occasionally as long as I didn't try a mission. But that was boring because I could hardly get any weapons or anything. My cousins stopped playing their one, so they gave it to me. I gave them a lend of my copy of The Warriors in return. I'm planning on swapping back because I prefer The Warriors anyway.

Also, before this whole conversation I was contemplating buying Half Life 2 and Episode One because I loved them so much. I'm still undecided on whether I should do that. No games fit on my computer anymore anyway. I had KOTOR, KOTOR 2, Deus Ex : Invisible War and Far Cry, but I had to delete all those games in exchange for space to download other stuff. I bought all those games, by the way.

I'm going to buy Episode 2 and Episode 3 anyway.

I have a question for you, Zantalos. Do you ever download music using P2P programs? A lot of people who would start acting righteous towards me for torrenting Half Life 2 probably do that themselves.

I guess it doesn't matter too much then. Saying you lost that much on these games is pretty bad. Even though Valve can't be blamed for these two other games, yeah losing that much sucks. While getting stuff for free is frowned upon, I guess I can see that some people deserve them more than others. I can't say I've lost that much on broken games, I've always gotten the easy way out with a refund (though that doesn't happen much).

So yeah, that's illegal but fine then, since you really like Half-Life 2 to endorse it all over these forums. Nevermind then, if you put that much thought before getting a game like that, I guess it really does justify itself.
Sorry!

I don't want you to just retract everything you said either. Some of what you said is right, fundamentally. Downloading the games is wrong in itself, but I just kind of stopped caring. I'm spiteful in ways like that. But I'm going to get it out of my system, and I said in the last post (which I edited in case you missed that), that I'm going to buy Episodes 2 and 3. Whether or not I'm going to buy Half Life 2 and Episode One is unknown.

I just really wanted people to stop heaping all the attention on me and leave it as a thread for Garry's Mod, which is what it is. Some people who want to talk about it are probably discouraged by the conversation that's going on now.

Seriously, renegade_turner, you need to tone down your attitude. While you have apologized for advocating piracy, the fact remains that you are instigating flame wars and bad feelings all over these forums. I think you need to step back, look at your post history, and quit being Gramps.

Let's let this thread go back to Garry's Mod, so it will be forgotton and discarded again. :D

Guy on Big Brother in England has tourette syndrome. It's weird. He whistles or something to make it stop, I think.

Anyway, does anyone here read the comics on PHW? The ones created using Garry's Mod? Or does anyone read Concerned?

I read a comic made with Garry's mod once, yes.

I think some of them are great. Once such one on the PHW site (site exclusively for these comics) is called Apostasy. It's a drama-type comic. It's great.
