Allow me to Introduce Myself...

..I am User With No Name, a user with no name, and a strong love for Indie games. Indie Game companies like Telltale Games, X-Gen Studios, Armor Games (if that counts as an Indie Game company...), 2D Boy, Cockroach Inc., DPflashes, and now Wolfire! I wasn't sure if introduction threads were frowned here so I took a gamble and made one anyway. I came here specifically because of Overgrowth and the fasinating tools it provided players to create and the outstanding gameplay mechanics it had to play the game. I would like to Pre-order it but I have a questions to ask about it first.

1. Would overgrowth be able to work on my computer with my current Video card/Graphic card? I don't know if it's alredy been posted somewhere and I wasn't able to look through the whole website yet to get an answer. I have a Video card that hasn't been updated since 2004. So I don't waste my money on a game that I wouldn't be able to play. I've included my DxDiag in the attachment so I hope that will help you find the information you need about my computer. Lugaru worked fine on my computer, or at least the demo did. Though the graphics here easily look my smoother and slicker so I don't wan to take the chance of buying the game and not having it work.

I would really appreciate an answer. Maybe a welcoming song, some tips I should know about this forum, suggestions, comments, concerns, a good joke, Political views, or even a breif trivia History lesson. Anything I should know, or even a hello would be helpful. (And an answer to that question. hint, hint.) Thank you all (that actually read the whole thing, and you other people too. )

Unfortunately, I do not think your video card will run Overgrowth (Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL).

There is a chance that it could work in the distant future, once the game has been optimized (don't quote me on that though!).

I think you'll find that the community here is very welcoming and helpful; if you need anything, I suggest you hop onto the irc (irc://irc.wolfire.com/wolfire , there is a built in client linked at the top of the page).

I hope you stay; I think it would be worth the investment of getting a new video card

Yeah, some games these days aren't working on my PC because of my low Video Card... thanks for the suggestion too! Hopefully I'll be able to get a Video card for my computer that my Mother Board can handel as well as the video card can handle the games. Thanks again, and I'll probaly be sticking around!
