Red Vs. Blue

RvB is a popular webseries based off of the Halo universe, produced by Rooster Teeth. I wouldn't be surprised if most people here knew about it already, but I'm sure there are a few who don't.
A brief description: Red Vs. Blue starts off as a pure comedy chronicling the adventurous conflicts of the Red and Blue squads within Blood Gulch. Being relatively old, these first few seasons were filmed using Halo 1. As time went on, the generic characters and plots took a turn towards being more developed, with unique and lovable characters emerging to form an unlikely band of heroes- well, not really. They mainly just want to kill each other and be lazy. The team also used Halo 2 and Halo 3 as mediums for filming after they came out. Though most of their videos are really just in-game recordings that have voice-overs added to them, they are increasingly edited and shopped as the series progresses, and by season 8, there are even full-fledged animated sequences (most notably, 3 huge animated fight scenes)
There's 8 full seasons up on the Red vs Blue site. Each season has about 20 mainstream videos, with most seasons having special videos or PSAs of some sort. Seasons 1-5 are untitled and transition into the more serious, plot-heavy seasons- 6, 7, 8, entitled Reconstruction, Recreation, and Revelation respectively. Season 9 is set to debut this summer.
NOTE: Some people are tempted to go straight into the later seasons because they think that the earlier seasons are inferior or aren't important. If you do this, you're dumb. Start from the first season. Even the first few episodes are diamonds in the rough, despite their obvious issues, but they're pretty good for a start. You'll also get to see the development of the series in general and each individual character if you watch it chronologically.
