Would you mind linking to those reports you've read? I'm quite interested myself.
Sure.

Note the detailed similarities. These two people are talking about the exact same thing.

It exists.

I'm not mad.

I saw the E3 Trailer for Overstrike earlier today, and and the very least the humor is there. We'll see about the gameplay.

Also, I keep hearing Steven Blum everywhere.

Yeah, that one caught my eye as well.

It's nice to see a game that knows when to not take itself too seriously.

But like you said, the gameplay is another story.

I had a Skype conversation with a couple of guys while watching the live stream, and we all were quite excited for Overstrike.

This still isn't the demo I was looking for, but fuck it, I'll take whatever scraps I can get.

Besides, those gameplay snippets had me cackling with glee.

The single most anticipated thing for me is obviously Mass Effect 3, and it looks like it'll be feckin' amazing. But, with that being pushed back to Q1 of next year (March 6th isn't it?) I'll be getting Gears 3 first, see how it all ends, what with the story being continued into the novels, and the human race getting really quite close to extinction. :D

(Ya know, in hindsight, maybe a smile wasn't the best emote for that... Ahh well)

Also, I'm kinda looking forward to Bioshock infinite, but it's amazingly stupid of them to release this many details this early, I mean isn't it not being released until holiday season 2012?! Fair enough, it builds up a huge hype, but I think by the release, all but the most die-hard fans of the trailers and earlier games will have lost interest by then...

it was a project out of passion not a project out of business.
And yet you're charging £34.99 for it?... Fail.

I don't know whether or not you've seen this already, but I've found another gameplay video;

Nowhere.

In fact, Ubisoft made a point of mentioning that, and I quote, BG&E2 "won't be released any time soon." There wasn't any mention of I Am Alive either.

I guess they're too busy making Far Cray 3 and Ghost Recon 5

Damn... They've decided to copy 3D Realms...
There's gonna be a Halo Kinect.

Yes, Kinect is going to be an available method in both the Combat Evolved remake, and probably in the upcoming games, but never a necessity.
