In case you haven't heard, the 3 developers of Project Zomboid have abandoned their project.
Apparently, the 3 developers, had store everything on one single laptop, with no backup.
The laptop got "stolen" as well as 2 of them removed their twitter account.
They won't be working on the project any more since everything got lost.
Everyone that was stupid enough to buy this unfinished game will receive no refunds (and they are still selling it).
Hopefully, Wolfire wont do that to us.

Re: Project Zomboid
Venatir, do you even consider that Overgrowth is unfinished, and that you pre-ordered it?
And please check before you post something like this, it's obviously posted that they do not abandon the game, they just removed their twitter accounts because they were drunk-tweeting, wich is kind of understandable, since they were kinda depressed.

Re: Project Zomboid
The Overgrowth source code repository is automatically backed up from the secure, dedicated server where it is stored every night professionally by Rackspace. If that server and the server's backup both fail, the repository is stored on a number of people's local machines. If everyone's computer is stolen at the same time (there are like 10 computers in different locations), we all subscribe to one or more backup solutions, like CrashPlan, Time Machine, Carbonite, etc.

Re: Project Zomboid
What a pointless and borderline accusatory thread. Not to mention the false information.

yikes, my intelligent was a day old. Guess I should've checked my new ones before posting.
Though it did seem VERY suspicious the first days this happen. with this "Sorry, game is gone. No refund, but we wont continue to work on the game. Also our twitters are gone.
