Well not exactly, the music is really low and choppy. But just the idea of
Rage Against The Machine playing in Lugaru is really cool. So far my sound drive hasn't crashed.

You have to set the sound frequency to 22 khz or so, if it is at 44 khz it will be halved, and therefore be very slow

MacWiggy (and mr Renegade

), I have now succesfully replaced all
Lugaru music with RATM, with a slightly edited Street Fighting Man as combat music.
It's great

I love the 3rd person view, with tab, where your gun always locks on to the nearest enemy. I think this would be the perfect system for LU2. You could do all the jumping and flipping and athletics, without worrying about aiming your bow/crossbow/spear/throwing knives/sling. Maybe your weapons would automaticly lock on to enemies, BUT if you were really far away, you could press right click (Or any button, really) and enter a precison aiming mode, Llke in Red Faction.
"New maps and textures for SOS would be great.

When I enter combat in Lugaru, "Killing in the Name" plays.

Actually, auto-aim in 3rd person works at any range, and is ÜBER accurate, so a "Precision" aiming mode would be less accurate, unless you needed to aim at a specific part of the body (That's why I prefer 1st person mode in SoS, otherwise, 3rd person is GREAT)

i think the map Editor should be easier.
I understand the concepts of how the games are put together. but i just don't know how to code and to all the Practical things.
there should be more of a User Friendly thing where you can add more bots, trees, structures. ETC, i did how ever learn how to change the textures Easy.
the editor would be easy for some one who knows what they are doing.
how ever its a Brilliant game.

Jeff said the map editor in L2 will be much better than in L1,
not where you run around and press buttons to put stuff at your feet.
There will be scripting if you want to make advanced things, but for those
that don't want to script there will be some ready scripts to choose from.
On topic, I was the first to change the music in Lugaru *semi-proud*.

Too bad you can't jump off walls in SoS.

and all modable data is in the "Data" folder.
It's the same engine that Lugaru uses, so modding is is just like modding
Lugaru.
Maybe something in the program itself is modable through a resource editor,
though.
New maps and textures for SOS would be great.
Sounds can also be fun to replace.
Mine doesnt have a Data folder

You can also press B for slow-mo, and V completely freezes time!

...just like in Lugaru.
I thought that was obvious :p
I often go into slomo.
Try this:
Disarm (shoot his hand) a robot so he can't attack, but don't shoot his legs.
Let him walk up to you as close as possible.
Go to 3rd-person if you aren't there already.
If you didn't notice, there's some autoaiming in 3rd-person mode,
so your robot should automatically aim the pistol on the robots chest.
Shoot and press v as fast as possible.
It's kinda hard (im too lazy to) explain what happens.
If there's just the white smoke and the robot just died,
maybe you weren't fast enough, or maybe it doesn't happen everytime.

If you're talking about what I think you are, all you have to do is score any non-disabling shot on him and hit v. Also, anyone tried pressing "g" in SOS?

I know that if you hold g in Blackshades, it turns your bullets into impact grenades. More notebly, it turns my shotgun into a 6 shot BOOM LAUNCHER.
