Gosh Glabbit! Give credit where credit is due!
I hadn't read that.
Being absent-minded doesn't make me an asshole, Jack. If anything, you feeling affronted about the fact that I didn't praise your post makes you Jackthearrogant.
Furthermore, no credit was given. I was merely stating the fact that I point the point that was made an interesting one.
Since you had obviously thought of this point yourself quite a bit earlier, you could easily take this as a compliment.
...Well okay, maybe not easily. But you still could.
So, Jacktheantagonist, have I clarified enough for you to be Jacktheappeased, or do you remain Jacktheapoplectic?
Consider me Jacktheashamed...

fucky'all and your physics did everyone forget that we are talking about
SUPERPOWERS?

+1 @ Freshbite.
Well, a physical manifestation of time could be rather vague. Analog clocks are physical manifestations of time.
Movement is a better one though, as you can't move if your velocity is applied for 0 milliseconds. So byt the very facet of chrono-energy existing by converting kinetic energy to time, we can see that time is manifesting in matter because the kinetic energy is moving something.
This is the kind of shit I have fun talking about when I'm not having fun programming.

Oh rly? And is a voltmeter a physical manifestation of electricity?
Hm...not sure I understand. You mean in the situation of velocity being applied to 0 milliseconds?

Haha, just a suggestion

No, not quite. It's like calculating the effect of wind on ocean waves. If the wind blows at 100 mph over the ocean for < 1 second, how much are the swells affected? Not much at all. The same thing applies here. Applying energy to something for 0 seconds produces no movement, thus nullifying the existence of energy as time. But if something is to move faster than light for any amount of time, then we can assume that the energy has been converted into time energy because the energy has to go somewhere. It can't remain inside the moving object because an perfect machine is impossible, thus losing energy over time, and needing to have more added to it to maintain movement.
Could we write a function for this?
Like:
E = (t) * ((V - c) * (k/t))
Where E is the calculated chrono-energy, t is the time we spend travelling at speeds > the speed of light in milliseconds, V is our velocity and and c is the speed of light, k is the amount of energy lost in t milliseconds by our machine during travel.
V-c is the how much faster we're going than light. k/t is energy lost per millisecond.

..... mmmmmeeeeeee
...
huh ... seems it actually does work. You just have to overcharge your CPU to 1.21 gigaohmnewtonsper angstroseconds and rewire the databus to the gpu.

What's with all the meme's in this forum? ... it's getting a little too memeish. I hope I didn't start that trend :/
Anywho, about chrono-energy. It sounds kinda plausible.
If time is simply another dimension and you can store energy by displacing an object with mass in space, it would also make sense that you could store energy by displacing the object in time.
This has been somewhat proven before by doing experiments showing that objects that move faster (more energy exerted) counteract the flow of time.
What if we think of time, not as a separate dimension, but as an extremely powerful force that pulls us. Then this would logically suggest that if we put enough energy into an object, we can displace how rapidly it moves through time (or even reverse it!)
Unfortunately, I can't conduct an experiment on mass because it would require more energy than I have access to (1.21 gigawatts to move all the necessary equipment by my calculations, holy fuck that's like a freaking lightning bolt!)
So I decided to narrow down the experiment by sending a much smaller mass back in time, specificially in this case ... electrons in the form of a signal.
So all I gotta do is post this as I charge the equipment and this post should go back in tiiiiimmmmmm.....

But couldn't we, theoretically, use a lightning bolt, direct it into some machine and have that force be used to move it through time. Probably won't work though, and we'll probably just get killed anyways...

I suggest we use a delorean to store the necessary equipment.
The stainless steel body would provide a nice faraday cage effect to shield the equipment from strong electromagnetic fields.
Besides, If you're going to time travel, you might as well do it in style.

Deloreans are the way to do it. Remember kids, just don't hit on your mom.

Or your grandmom.
Did'ya know that DeLoreans have a 14" door clearance? DeLoreans are butterscotch, yo.

Time Control would be the best in my opinion. If you make a mistake, are late to something important or in a fight of any sorts, time control could be extremely useful. My second choice would be the control of fire (Which nobody chosen yet

), mainly because I believe in the avatar way of fire (Use it well enough and you get to use lightning as well.
