Incidentally, considering this is the nostalgia thread anyway, does anyone remember Invertin's pivot animations? I remember him declaring his intent to make a full film-esque thing, which I was really looking forward to, but I think he lost interest in that idea even long before he.... disappeared.

Well I think he joined when he was 14 or 15. He submitted angsty poetry for a while, and was nothing much, but as he got more well known the ego flared up, the purple text came, and he became the Alpha Troll. This continued for a while, until he was no longer the Alpha Troll, but the Person-Who-Said-He-Was-Done-With-Trolling-But-Still-Managed-To-Singlehandedly-Derail-Threads. Then he really did stop trolling so much, but the mere fact that he had that reputation kind of made threads crumble around him, as people would get pissed at him or criticize him and start massive flame wars. He hardly posts anymore.
The last I saw him we were arguing about hipsters and he called me nasty names. I miss him already.

In my absence people still write about me at such length...who are you, again? Nice to know I have a fan, you'd be better off not harbouring such resentment for someone though. D=

Also, you seem to have a warped opinion of how people have reacted to me in the last while. When I do post I don't sense any animosity from any of the regulars, even people who used to bite every time I threw the bait. This is only even more pronounced by the fact that Korban3 hadn't even realised that I was once so eager to aggravate.

Also I just noticed Ren and I appear to be the oldest currently active accounts on the forum.
Somehow I feel like that should be invigorating or fulfilling in some way. Or reason for some ultimate showdown, which I with my sensitive, empathic nature am most likely to lose.
But truthfully it's a mere meaningless statistic.

Too much credit? I don't see how I was. I made it clear that once I'd stopped all that business and changed my overall tone on the forums, people softened and moved on. Maybe you didn't, for whatever reason. I never said anyone hated me, you inserted that bit yourself. Freudian slip? I never expected anyone to hate me, it's just the internet and I imagine that not many care too much. There'll always be a few exceptions though. What I was actually saying was that, when once there was a certain degree of animosity towards me, it has evaporated for the vast majority who seemed to harbour it. Don't be so smug, it's not becoming of you.
