Re: avatars
You're right. It does.
The template looks less clean than I remembered, but that's it alright.
I like how the hair fits perfectly though.
We need a talented photoshop-barber in here, STAT!

Well, I did some tweaking, but no cutting was necessary.Glabbit wrote:I like how the hair fits perfectly though.
I melted over the top-right-corner to fill it with hair aswell.
Kind of half-assed effort, but it turned out OK.

I've been holding it as a trump card for a while ... however, I was waiting for you to do some verbal/admin ass kicking before i used it. Once I realized that wasn't going to happen, I just put everything on the table.Freshbite wrote:HAHAHA! Extra cookies for you since it's from the same series as my avatar's taken from.Assaultman67 wrote:Still waiting on this to happen to adwuga

I'm not sure if this is fun sarcasm or some sort of "this is our exclusive thing" douchebaggeryBlackHole wrote:What has happened here... such young forum members, who weren't there back in the days of the original Beard Rebellions, are starting to wear on their avatars the signs of the most holy thing in existence like it's nothing.
Why?
WHY??!!!
Have you any idea of the power of the Beard? This is way bigger than any of you!
Where were you when the Beard was born? What were you doing while the first members of the Code gathered and made awesome pictures featuring the Beard? Were you there when the Beard unveiled the True Color, known to the public as Pink? Witnessed it's death? Yet did you stand by His promise, that one day He'd return to reclaim His rightful ownership of the galaxy?
They even dared to spell the word "Beard" without it's obligatory capital letter. Oh, let us pray that the Beard will have mercy on their souls, that in His anger He will not vanish our forums from the face of the earth.
Oh Beard, we have doubted you! Forgive our disbelief, for we know Thy will rise again!
No, stop using the search function of the forum to search for answers. Just be honest with us. You have any idea of the legacy? Let me ask you a few questions, and see if you can answer them yourself, without looking it up.
- Who was the first member to receive their Beard avatar?
- Lugaru 2 was supposed to be the first game featuring the Beard. How did Turner acquired it?
- Despite the rumors, another game was released first. What was the name of this game?
- What is this creature called?
- How many beards are in a LUDICROUS BEARD?
- Who was supposedly the one who slayed the Beard?
- However, the Beard could not be stopped. What did He do to the killer?
Answer these and you will be considered worthy.

Me neither. I can't answer most of those questions, and I was there.Assaultman67 wrote: I'm not sure if this is fun sarcasm or some sort of "this is our exclusive thing" douchebaggery![]()
Oh well.

I might have exaggerated the sarcastic part a bit.

A good friend will bail you out of jail and lecture you about how you messed up. A great friend will be sitting right next to you laughing about it saying "damn, we really screwed up!"

Wow, they look exactly the same. I guess it's because that's the only anime show I've ever watched.Assaultman67 wrote:Wrong show.adwuga wrote:I watched that show! I'm Edward Elric!(blondie)(He is in the car at one point, I choose to be him, no takebacks)
Blur the edges a bit(unless it looks bad), and make it more pink(it's too purple). Also, I feel like the filled out version should match the angle of your face more.Freshbite wrote:Well, when following the template, it still looks weak.Glabbit wrote:That still looks horrid.
Go find the Beard template.
I went ahead and filled it a little for my... "own" version.
The template, right?
I still like my one more.

FUCK TEMPLATES IM A REEL ARTIST
Will not change it. My half assed attempt at a Beard will stay until I decide to spend more time on it than programming.

Nooooooo! please change it back! I beg you, it makes me feel bad!!! X(
Re: avatars
I have to side with Doggyhugger on this one.
In some circles, paint is the most awesome thing there is just because its ridiculousness has sort of become a meta in-joke.
I believe this circle is not one of them.
Also 'reel' artists do use templates.
It's how you use them which determines how creative you are.

Re: avatars
I'm not a real artist. I got my avatar from Google images
I have drawn dragons in the past but that was:
1. a while ago
2. hand drawn
3. lost (I don't remember where I put them)
p.s. I can't figure out the list function so numbers will have to do

I nearly spent five years without one! just a year or so short.
Re: avatars
I can't believe you would insult me like this. Calling that beard a MS Paint product. I should put my foot through my screen and kick your ass.
I did that in MyPaint.
And no. It's staying, just to piss you all off. Cause I'm gonna love and tolerate the shit out of your opinions.
