Seriously. I'm not a fan of him, but it's not my or anyone else's place to accuse him of stupid things like that, like it's stupid to accuse the government that they planned the demolition of the World Trade Centers.

I think we can all agree with that, at the very least. Fucking hell... I'm moving to europe until this gets there, and then moving to somewhere completely and totally remote; like in the middle of russia where no one knows where I am, or something, under ground.

Politics is pretty lame. I just ignore it.

It's good to ignore most of the depressing stuff, but it isn't good just to flat out ignore what's happening around you.

heh, actually my mom keeps talking about moving to Ireland if the next elections don't go the way she wants them to. Maybe I'll come visit you...

Russia, as in the middle of no where. Like siberia. Where NO ONE IS IN EXSISTANCE. There is no politics in a wasteland.

You probably don't want to move to Russia any time soon.

When does this stuff effect you? Last time, everyone when insane over this stupid "patriot act" thing, who cares? It's not like George Bush is going to stop whatever he's doing and start listening to your phone calls to your friends house or when you order pizza. I have no idea why people would get so upset to just leave.
Oh and this one... I don't even know what it's even really about (this article is extremely bias and one sided). The actual law looks like it was suppose to make the Genava Convention un-aplicable to terrorist (makes sense... They torture and behead their own citizens on T.V, use anthrax, and guerrila tactics (if you call suicide bombing a bunch of shopping malls and hospitals 'guerrila tactics')). The website somehow translated that into Bush Given Authority To Sexually Torture American Children, when really it doesn't say that, it just doesn't not say that. So... while it could be true, I think it's more like the Partiot Act where people just hella blew it out of proportion. I think this is something you can ignore, more mass hysteria, scream if you see some one actually being effected by this.

Ditto. I also ignore it as much as I can. I figure there's a minimal amount of influence I can have over it, so why try to change things?

But none of it actually affects me. I am completely with Zantalos and Renegade_turner.
As far as I can tell, my life is exactly the same as it was before Bush got into the whitehouse and supposedly put this country in the shitter. Same goes for Schwarzenegger and other people that are often complained about. Moving to Canada or Ireland or wherever because of some beauracratic decisions that have no actual impact on your life seems pretty strange.
Anyways, even if I did feel some huge difference in my life, it's not like I can do anything about it. One vote is meaningless.
