lol, ok whatever dude. All I know is that when I'm at viewdistance 1.0 I get 60 frames per second and it's fine. When I switch to say, viewdistance 15, it goes down to like 20 frames and feels like lag (even though it's not delaying, what's happening is really happening). I just like calling offline stuff lag, because... well fps is not a negative noun. ("I'm getting tons of lag," is easier then "I'm getting tons of... not, that, much, fps?")

...nevermind, I don't know what I'm talking about. I'll remember the difference and not sound like a retard next time.

You could say "I'm getting a really shitty framerate." But everyone knows what you mean anyway, so don't worry about it.

lag: verb, lagged, lag‧ging

1 To fail to keep up a pace; straggle.
2 To proceed or develop with comparative slowness: The electric current lags behind the voltage
3 To cause to hang back or fall behind.

So technically it's lag.

Actually, it's technically not lag, because the game itself is keeping up just fine, but the computer is just rendering the frames slowly.

Lag is where players on the internet in a multiplayer game are actually not keeping up with the game because of slow internet connection speed.

Alright, now I just sound like an ass. Carry on, please.

I don't care that you don't care that I don't care that you couldn't care less.

Yeah, that's what I thought. But the actual definition doesn't say anything of the sort. But what you call technical is really just what kids like to scream into their microphone after they get shot. See, because your computer can lag behind in frames with your game, but your internet can also lag behind in time with the server and the actual definition of lag isn't specific on what this is.

lol wormguy, this is actually very fascinating! Of course you don't sound like an ass! Continue.

But really, to lag means to slow down, so it was true to say that it was lag. Fact.

Technically, it's only semi-lag, since the actual thing that's lagging is the framerate which would mean that you have slow framerate :P

Isn't it strange how that sounds in no way like exactly like what I said? xD

And technically, all you did was bold and italic the word frame rate to prove your point! Seriously, how can it be semi-lag?

Why is having a slow frame rate so different that you can't use it with the word 'lag' as well? You can also say "slow connection" instead of using the word lag (you call a delayed connection lag, can't you call a delayed framerate lag? You can call anything lag, it's not bound to any specific thing). So why would connection lag be any different from frame rate lag? I mean, none of them are in the definition, therefore...

FISSION MAILED.

I said it was semi-lag, which means that that is semi-correct, not incorrect, but not correct! :x

Also, it'd be amazing, yet deadlier if it was fusion mailed
