You know ... no matter how many times I come to this thread, I cant help but feel like I'm out of place ...

It's like an emo going to the beach ...

I guess I don't consider myself that musically inclined because I don't have a particular genre in which I truly have an intimate knowledge with ... I don't know many rock bands and I also feel as if I don't absolutely hate some kind of genre of music I obviously know nothing about music.

hell, just yesterday I was listening to, javanese gamelan music, and some sort of band that was playing what they called "American Indian Rock Opera" as well as otis rush.

I, too, listen to a very varied selection of music forms. Perhaps when you find something that you feel is kind of sticking out, you should post it here to share it with us.
