I have never listened to Killswitch Engage before. I don't know why. This is fucking awesome.
I'll have to look them up more extensively some time soon, I just happened to be linked to this song on Facebook.

I've heard a lot of Killswitch's songs, and they're mostly good, but for some reason I feel weird when listening to them. It's like the singer is trying to convert me to a religion I'm unwilling to follow. _________
Brutal. Fast. Melodic.
Perfect.
Listen to that fucking drummer. He's sick. _________
That first song strongly reminded me of "Impulse" by An Endless Sporadic (a song I will admit that I first heard on the Guitar Hero III Bonus setlist). It really goes into similar patterns in the song, and have this generally "random" feel to it.

This is a young Irish girl from Dublin, she's about 17 or so, and she's got a ridiculous grasp of musicianship and songwriting for her age. The first is a cover and the second is her most recent original:

Yeah, that was totally the first thing that came to mind.

I love this kind of music, and this gentleman (HDSounDI) has a channel full of it.
By Satan! This shit is amazing!
I thank thee sir, for this fine contribution.

At first, I can't really say if I like it or not, mostly because the style in general is not really what I'm after. However, from the verse that kicks in at about 1:40, I sort of start to like it. The riff at 2:12 sounds cool, in combination with the faster singing. The solo at 3:18 is great. The part after that however I find, well, sort of annoying.
I don't really know what to say, I don't have any fine technical terms to use to go into further detail. Oh, I did like the distortion on the vocals, that I can say.
In short, for a genre that I'm not nearly interested in, you guys did a pretty good job. I will ask a friend of mine who listens to other "alternative" rock for his opinion and perhaps come back with his reply later.
