I'm just very used to the layout of Safari; I won't be switching to Chrome anytime soon. On the occasions that I have used it, however, I've found it to be acceptable, and I do like its minimalism. I'm not sure what version of Firefox you run, but whenever I've used it it's just been clunky and slow. Maybe it doesn't like my system.

Firefox and Chrome run at about equal speeds for me and use approximately equal resources. I prefer Firefox just because I feel that it's more customizable and because I used it first and see no incentive to switch to any other browser.

@Jack, on some computers Firefox does seem to run slower. It did on my old laptop. I read a list of certain addons that slow it down a lot, so if you avoid those it should be about equal. I also got an addon which makes Firefox even more sleek than chrome. It basically makes the annoying bars at the top as thin a possible(even more than chrome) while still being useable.

If you're on Windows you owe it to yourself to try out the Palemoon build of Firefox too. Decently faster (plus I'm old fashioned and like a built in status bar option).

Oh well. I'm not a big enough fan of Firefox's layout to switch over from Safari anyways.

Safari. Never found a reason to switch. I've tried out Chrome, Firefox and Opera but I still like Safari more.

Safari has always done just the job for me.
However, when on Bootcamp or on someone else' windows machine, Safari's functionality is a large tad disappointing, so in those cases I tend to gravitate to Firefox since it's quite neat.

I tried Chrome and Opera each once, but couldn't get used to the layout quick enough for me to want to try them out again, so my opinions on them are null and void.

I think we can all agree on that you shouldn't use IE or Netscape.

Netscape is where its at.
