Minesweeper error

Post by Riverkiller » Sun Sep 29, 2013 12:17 am

Okay, so, I was playing some minesweeper (as people do) and I came across this total error in my ways. I failed to realize that the red mine was a misplaced flag.

Is the clicked bomb the red one? That would make the bomb with a cross through it a flagged space where there is no bomb. So Minesweeper's doing fine.
Also, why are we speaking of bombs? This is minesweeper. We're sweeping mines here.

^ Minesweeper noobs.

The mine with a cross through it is indeed a false alarm. The 1 below it is already touching the mine below that so the mine that was flagged above couldn't possibly be a mine, thus the only place where there could be a mine is the location in question wherein said major Minesweeper noob seems to think there can't be a mine.

Damn, well I have fixed the error in my ways, but it's fine now so I guess all is well...

EDIT: It was Amorphous' idea to post here, he thought it was an error, not me! I didn't notice it!
Post it to the minesweeper forums... wait do they have those? No? Post it on the Wolfire forums then.
