If you think this is bad, imagine how much spam everyone else is removing ( = about as much as you, most probably), and imagine it all being normal posts on page 1 of the forum, and a moderator needs to remove them by hand. Yeah....
I do?
How?
Or is it the little triangle with the exclamation point in it

If you open an unapproved (spam) post, marked by a triangle and a question markt, you should see a red line sayinh "This post has not been approved". That.

Alternate way would be this:

Starting from the part of the forums, top left, with Board Index < Wolfire Games < Randomness...

Go down to User Control Panel...

Then Moderator Control Panel.

Under queue tab, you can select and disapprove many posts at once.

If that doesn't work, I'm wrong and it isn't all preorderers.

Hatred and FTL forums have spam problems too. It's a problem with security.

they could ban the bots and use an invisible field on the register form (bots will trap blindly into that)
and if that invisible field is filled in you have to cancel the registration and you better ban the ip also

edit: *evil HAHA* the forum was just... 5.... seconds.... spam.... free..... because..... of...... me.......
edit edit: anyone else still keeping the forums spam free?

I accidentally Approved a bit of spam, instead of Dis. Sorry about that! We need a proper mod to clean this up, hopefully these aren't one of those "new post every 3 minutes" ones.

Oh gods, it won't end.
I'll try to kick Freshbeardbitestorm into action. If that doesn't work, we may indeed need to petition Jeff to give a likely Endoperez suitable person
the rights to swing the banhammer.

Greysw Grayswandir could do with some backup, I'm guessing.

I thought you guys had the ability to ban. Am I the only one?

Don't worry Endo, working on cleaning it out again.

We can approve/disapprove posts, but I haven't found any ban buttons anywhere.
You think Phoenixwarrior would still be around if I had?
I'm touched that you'd think me to be so forgiving c:

I actually refused it once already, but I guess I'm around often enough to wield it in a situation like this. I won't accept the responsibility of deciding whether to ban regular users though - only spam. I don't want to be a judge.
