Ahem........ Windows sucks, and I'm ashamed that I have to use a Windows computer at work. Macintosh doesnt have as many sales, but soon Mac will win... and you Windows users will be left with the shitty OS that's 5 years out of date .

Szs315 , you've removed all doubt from my mind that you're an idiot. Your lack of understanding of basic economics, technology, and your patently false assertions disqualifies you from any worthwhile debate.

Also, the entire concept of a platform jihad makes no sense to me. Why do you care what platform someone else uses? A discussion or debate about the merits about each platform is one thing, but when people take personal offense to a security flaw in OS X or the fact that some people like Macs over PCs, that is completely ridiculous.

With that said, David and I use MacBook Pros with both Windows and Mac OS X installed, running both operating systems simultaneously. Our desktop computers are custom built PCs constantly upgraded to have the latest hardware (sometimes not publicly released yet ).

I personally prefer PCs because of their flexibility; I do a lot of shit with my computer. Macs just seem too idiot-proof to me at times. My mom has a Mac, however, and I truly believe that they have merits. I wouldn't ever buy a PC laptop now that Macs run Windows and OSX. But the desktops are just not for me.

In conclusion, the only reason people hate Macs is because of ignorance. And this is coming from a hardcore PC user.

ANYWAY

Back on topic, Defcon is an awesome game. 'Nuff said.

Also, what is defcon and where to get more info on it?

Szs, that's complete bullshit. You need an emulator to run OSX on PCs, and emulators always blow unless the technology has advanced extremely far.

Also, my Calculus teacher uses a Mac to run Windows, it's never given him any shit. He has taught every single class using his Mac and the projector, and it's never failed him. Macs run Windows just fine. This is a hard fact.

Also, Defcon is a highly-reviewed indie game from Introversion Software (Uplink, Darwinia). You've probably been living under a rock for the last year not to have heard of it.

It won't run. PCs have different architecture.
