I agree with you on the first part... But SMG's are not Uzi's!!

The battle-rifle was sort of a medium range weapon, like a cloer range verson of the sniper rifle, the Assault rifle was a proper machinegun, and the SMG's have bad aim, but great rate of fire. In other words-

Battle rifle: Medium/long range
Assault rifle: Medium range
SMG's: Close range

Thats how I feel anyway.

Speaking of halo 3, apparantly there will be dual weild swords, which may not be useful in Halo2, but in Halo3 (hopefully) the swords will be a more complicated weapon. Which makes me imagine 2 elites having an awesome energy-sword-fight.

So I've been playing Final Fantasy XII instead.
Their aren't that many playstation 3's that share the same problems with the 360. Microsoft could of done a whole lot better.

I have no idea what you guys are complaining about...I've had no problems with my Xbox 360 at all...
But then I bought the cooling fan (although they say you don't NEED it...) when I got the system.
The only thing I don't like is that the controllers eat normal batteries (two AA's) for breakfast.

As for the PS3...I didn't get one because there aren't any games coming out that I actually want to play...and the ones that are coming out don't seem to have local multiplayer...which annoys me.

Yes, but it's coming out on 360 much earlier. The PC version will arrive later due to optimization and other fun things. It's mainly a 360 game, and as we know, console-to-PC ports can kinda suck.
