That's all lineart and digitally painted shading, I think. The guy did a rotoscoping tutorial thing where he drew over a simple 3D model to get the camera angles right, but he repeated several times he's not a good modeler. There's obviously software involved, but the amount of work that takes is just astounding.

Phoenix is not better than anime what he does is drawing all the attention by posting in his original way like this:
something
Reaction
something
Reaction

And so on

A lot of people here disagree with him and start arguing with him.
So the fact that you guys were discussing him instead of anime is because he drew attention not because he's more interesting than anime (wich he's obviously not).

You guys have become easy marks since R_T has started showing up less and less. I mean seriously, R_T kept you guys on your toes. Times were so much more interesting back then.

True, that. I was thinking among similar lines.

Et tu, Brute.
[+] annoying stuff about Christina Hoff-Sommers
She has several good points, but those points do not support her conclusion, IMO.

She presents a few examples of excess, like the way the wage gap is exaggerated. Just this week I read this piece:
http://www.theverge.com/2015/3/24/82826 ... -earn-less

In the comments, most writers assume that the wage gap in that case is the result of male registered nurses working longer hours, for various reasons, but the article doesn't mention that. The original study did try to take that into account, so either that's not the reason, OR the methods for evaluating work hours don't work
Using ordinary least-squares regression and employment in formation in the NSSRN, we assessed how much of the annual salary differences could be accounted for by demographics factors, work hours...
In other words, the wage gap exists, but there might be reasons for it that scientific studies aren't finding.

The thing is, she's claiming it's the feminists misrepresenting these studies. Well, are the feminists the only people who have studied the gender pay gap? I'd guess not. What about those findings? If they proved there'd be no pay gap, she'd have brought them in. Maybe there just isn't a formula or a method for precisely calculating all the factors that affect pay.

In other words, I think (but haven't looked into it enough to be able to prove that) she's making these points and providing these facts, and then claiming something that isn't supported by them. Here's an article written by someone who thinks her claims on a different topic aren't supported by her evidence (or her choice of evidence):
http://studentactivism.net/2014/12/07/y ... denialist/
TL;DR... not buying it.

NO ONE ANSWER HIM.

Also, you are not a true man until you've read some some texts from the matriarch, a GWBW themed text joke thing on tumblr, the owner of which I am friends with (kinda)

Actually "real man" is not about puberty but about not fulfilling made-up standards of idealized manhood. Things like being strong, independent, good at sports, popular with sexy girls etc., basically the whole Mulan thing (and not just the song).

Incidentally, that's also the whole premise of Tengen Toppa Gurrenn Lagann, which starts with "be a man, don't be afraid" and ends with "be a man, throw a galaxy at him (plus no tears any more, ever, 'cause you a man now son)".

The two go together so well Youtube seems to have banned the audio from this video (one of the best AMV's Ive seen, incidentally):
