The real ones, that is.
That girl is the series is possessed by a cat spirit, which explains why she is acting like that ... kinda :?

bakemonogatari is so awesome ... its just got this quality to it that I cant quite describe with words that sets it apart from most other anime ... definitely one to watch if you enjoy paranormal themes.

I wanna say its kinda surrealist, but that's not quite the word im looking for.

They tend to excessively play with colors or change the animation style to accentuate emotion. At first glance it feels as if the series is totally random, but its not at all. The only others that I can think of that do this in their own way as well would be FLCL and tatami galaxy (which is so blazingly fast I never got past 5 minutes into it) ... paranoia agent maybe ... but thats more along the lines of story incoherence.

Also one of the most impressive AMV's I've ever seen used scenes from that show.

At first I was like "what the fuck" and then for some reason I started to actually like the music.

Hm.

EDIT: Also, this. What the fuck.

That would be a low flying jet buzzing a man.

Buzzing a man who barely reacts, other than to turn around to make sure the plane was alright and then calmly walk away. He has balls of steel.

That sounds more like anime in general ... first you're like "what the fuck" then you start to like it. :?

Eureka 7 was like that when I first watched it, but now its considered one of my favorites (pretty damn close to the favorite if it isn't already).

The main character's aunt, and the cosplay-school girl are both such weird characters, yet very lovable.

The series is called "Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko", I've been following it since he posted about it the first time. It's quite good.

Speaking of random animes...
I bet you'd want to let this girl show you "her love".

Dokuro-chan is a deranged show and both seasons are terrible (Terrible.). You should feel ashamed for watching that poor guy die repeatedly and get pretty much shit upon by his classmates. You terrible person you. Terrible.

I own the DVD collection.

Terrible.

Youtube led me here:

I fully put the blame on Youtube for making me Like this and add it to my Favorites list.

I knew about dokuro chan ... although I haven't watched past about 3 episodes of it ... I'm not sure why :?

Lately I haven't been completing all the anime I start or watching nearly as much. I figure its either because I'm losing interest in anime or I have gone through all the good stuff already and the quality of the shows I watch just aren't as good :?

Im not sure why watching these manga scanlations with actual words is so hilarious. but it is

If you want some real quality anime, I strongly suggest Katanagatari.

I have been watching it now and am to episode 7 ... Its really good, I especially like the music aspect of it and the unique animation style but I'm not really getting that "hopelessly addicted" feeling that I used to get when watching really good series.

I would have had the whole series watched by now, and then have been depressed about it being over if I was hopelessly addicted.

However, I imagine the end must be pretty spectacular because I can't quite figure out a way to wrap things up and keep the same pace they normally do. (which is unusual for me because I usually can at least come up with some scenarios on how i think it will end)

Yeah it smacked me in the face once it was over too.

I kind of also have that same "animes-are-slowly-getting-less-attractive"-feeling, now I typically just follow the mainstream serie, One Piece, and "Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko", which neither are complete.

May I suggest that for you, aswell? To take a break from watching finished animes from beginning to end and instead watch ongoing ones that releases an episode about once a week. It has helped me to keep up my interest.
