Wine Country kracker Blues

Post by Jazzmutant » Sat Mar 17, 2012 5:06 pm

For something on the other side of the world:...

"I am tired of fighting; Looking Glass is dead, Toohulhulsote is dead. The old men are all dead. It is the young men who say yes or no. He who led on the young men is dead. It is cold and we have no blankets. The little children are freezing to death. My people, some of them have run away to the hills, and have no blankets, no food; no one knows where they are--perhaps freezing to death. I want to have time to look for my children and see how many of them I can find. Maybe I shall find them among the dead. Hear me, my chiefs. I am tired; my heart is sick and sad. From where the sun now stands I will fight no more forever." -Chief Joseph (Thunder Coming up Over the Land From the Water) of the Nez Perce

Only Finland could come up with something as epic as "Folk Metal."

Also, Jazzmutant. What the hell I don't even wat is that why.

You are at a banquet.

However, this not just any banquet. It is the banquet to end all banquets. It is the culmination of all banquets that have gone before. Laid out before you is a sumptuous feast, every dish and delicacy you can imagine, a vast, mouth-watering selection of old favourites and new flavours.

You eat.

It is good. It is fantastic. It is hard to imagine how it could be any better.

Then, as you sit back with a contented sigh and a full stomach, a small plate is placed before you. On that plate is a single small dollop of dog shit and a spoon.

Sure, the feast was fantastic, but guess which taste will spring to mind every time you look back on it...

You have just completed Mass Effect 3.

*sob*

That's... wow.
Beautifully put.
I feel sad now.
And I never even played any of the Mass Effect series.

That's... well, damn.
As Glabbit said, that's just beautiful. I can really relate to that.
I've heard that the ending was supposed to be crap, but not like THAT...

<3 this. Got it from a friend. Well-kept secret, looks like. It's basically a movie site, but minimalist instead of overblown and with the majority of the available movies in HD.

The game Warp looks interesting enough...
At first glance, I thought it was childish and cute, like Little Big Planet.

I was dead wrong.

Dat game. Oh my gawd. And our parents thought Dead Space 2 was bad? Holy crap.
Although, I gotta tip my hat off to the devs. That's some really inventive gameplay they have going on there.
