What are you listening to right now?
Well, I actually agree with you (opinion). Minutes to Midnight is the most boring album I've heard in years. The only two good songs are Bleed It Out and Hands Held High because the rapping gives the songs energy.Crill3 wrote::headdesk:
Linkin Park is boring.
I had to, wormguy
Anyway, I'm listening to:
Justice - Never Be Alone
Justice is two French guys that sound a little bit like Daft Punk mixed with LCD Soundsystem. Fun stuff.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, your primary sport, American Football, is really just a ripoff of rugby that was only created in order to attempt to give America a sense of independence and individuality from England.nerodx wrote:yeah well im 14 in several monthes and I haven't even BEEN to Europe!....whatever, you guys don't even have football.
At that, it's one which was cleverly named American Football despite the football only being kicked on rare occasions, hardly ever from play (players usually favour just going to try to get a touch down rather than trying to kick a field goal or whatever its called from play) and other than that only to Kick Off and to kick Field Goals after a Touch Down.
Pretty much 1% of the game is spent kicking the ball, probably much much less.
So...why is it called "Football" again?
And baseball...well I dunno what the fuck that is.
I've never been outside Europe either. We don't have many killer animals where I live so I'm pretty cosy here.
In my honest opinion, English football is a much more layered game. There's a lot more to do and personally whenever I played American Football in the park it was pretty fun but not half as much fun as normal football.
I'll agree normal football can be pretty boring to watch if you're not really a fan of it normally, but to play it is far more fun than any other sport. It's as simple as you want or as complex as you want.
Oh and, if you got to play Hurling or Gaelic Football, which are Irish sports, you would know how much more exciting those sports are. I don't play hurling but its maybe the most exciting game to play.
Both are amateur sports, the athletes who play them play for no money, no wages, other than the thrill of playing the sport themselves.
Youtube Hurling if you want. You'll see what I mean by exciting. That is, if you actually have a look at it properly and not just for 10 seconds so you can satisfy yourself by telling me you watched it and wasn't impressed by the miniscule time you glanced at it for.
***Also, by the way, this is probably blaringly obvious but I'd say David or Jeff should quickly move this to a new thread***

baseball - i'm american and i say that it's the most boring sport ever...you watch the same thing over and over...you hit the ball with an overly large stick and then run around the bases trying to reach home plate...i mean it's even boring to play..."oh, wow, he's safe, party at my house" meh, screw it...Renegade_Turner wrote: And baseball...well I dunno what the fuck that is.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3txQCQFuG-U <--- Utada Hikaru - Passion (Japanese) - This is a brilliant song. There's an English version which I obviously prefer called "Sanctuary". It's nice to be able to understand the words, but when the girl can sing like she can it doesn't matter. It's a really beautiful song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1_phmdDC8Q <--- Utada Hikaru - Passion (Live Recording) (Japanese) - This is a live recording just with piano and guitar. It shows better how brilliant her voice is.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4K0RTAsyW2k <--- Utada Hikaru - Simple And Clean (Shortened Remix) (English) - This is the theme to the original Kingdom Hearts. I'd heard it years ago but I only remembered it yesterday when I was thinking. It's really a brilliant song, and this remix is really energetic and the beats to it are really really catchy. You'll know when you hear it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZIc8sDW2_U <--- Utada Hikaru - Simple And Clean (Live Full Length Recording) (English) - This is the full length unremixed version of the song, just sang to the tune of a guitar and some piano. It's a much more honest and emotional version than the recorded one from her album and from Kingdom Hearts. She really puts her heart into the words and doesn't stress to try to sing out the words in a strong voice but just sings and lets the word come out with her emotions. It shows at the end that she kinda almost looks as if she's about to cry when she's singing. I love this song.

Well yeah the English created the rules to football.invertin wrote:Rounders is like our version of baseball. It has exactly the same rules.
But if you want an English sport, it's football.
Technically it's a Chinese sport, because they played it back in the day old school with pigskins and shit.
But yeah it's taken as English.
