To Fender and Gibson:

IT'S JUST A F**KING GUITAR!

Geeze, it's not like the shape and… Paintjob? Anyway, it's not like those will change the way it sounds…

Not sensible people. Especially not sensible people, if they hear you playing the dreaded "Song that won the competition using only one note".

A: That's for electronic guitars, don't just refer to them as "Guitars"

B: The shape and paintjob still won't change the way it sounds.

C: What about pickups?

D: *checks flame-o-meter* Holycrap! (A la stubbs the zombie.)

You have seriously just offended me. Offended. Pick up a Squire Bullet and then play with a Fender Stratocaster or a Gibson Les Paul and you will tell the difference immediately between a bad guitar and a good guitar. There are so many factors to consider.

Don't insult the intelligence of musicians with your ignorance. These guitar companies have been around for a while and have good names for good reasons.

I thought that was only for hollow guitars, not solid body...

Look, all I'm pointing out is that the world has gone so insane that not only is it churning out cars that just do pretty much the bloody same thing, but it's making much more guitars than needed. You don't need a pink guitar, you just need a good sounding guitar, you don't need a camo guitar to go on "Guerilla Missions", AKA a misspelling of what deathmetal is like, you just need one that works. There should be only five or so types of guitars, with custom tweaks available, though that's not required, especially not with an electric guitar plugged to a synth machine of some sort.

Oh boohoo, there are too many types of guitar with only aesthetic differences. It hurts when people have choices! Noooooooo!

differemt guitars are like different FPSs...they may llok the same on the surface but in reality there are major differences

btw, I just got a Les Paul Studio (the new mahogany model with Gibson made Burstbucker Pro pickups)...and got a nice $200 Gibson case with it today...now I have a Fender and a Gibson at 14, yay me! more video ftw!!!

anyways...god...I hate it when people don't see past the surface of music and call it pointless for musicians to care so much about gear...if I lived near you, I'd show you the difference
