That sounds pretty good to me..I tend to see things in micro rather than macro..maybe your broad perspective of things prevents you from enjoying some things as much as I enjoy them.

Its so cool how the grunts are suicidal now.....or are they just stupider....either way when i first saw a grunt run at me holding 2 exploding plasmas i burst out laughing...then it killed me....then my friend started laughing and accidentally killed my other friend who was also killed

Oh god.

The first time I saw a suicidal grunt it was half a meter away from me, and my grunt killing instinct took over.

Basically, I whacked a bomb round the face.

*SPOILER*
Look at keyes, she died in the 2nd game she was in and the only thing she added to the game was that she nearly killed everyone in the galaxy. Then there's truth, who did nothing to stop his own death, even though he is fully capable of murder and has those overpowered chairs of death. And of course, the flaws.

Just because the Ark is gone, does not mean that the halos are gone, or that the flood are gone.

*SPOILER*
ok you just wernt paying any attention were you
ok,
*SPOILER*

ok 1 she didnt die in the first one she was on halo went it almost activated but she took out the icon and stoped it, and then theres truth who was in the control room of the ark and he was doing everything he could to stop cheif from getting in, didnt you see? 2 scarbs and do you know how hard it is on legendary to get inside and then kill him? try it, if the flood wernt on your side then i would have been on there for alot longer, plus did you see his chair of death anywere? no, ok 1. the halo activated, killing all the enemy covenant because they all went to the ark,
the flood was all destroyed on earth because the elites "glassed" half of africa where the flood landed killing them all

I must say, since I have a 360 melting here and am coming from a mousekeyboard world, playing 3D shooters with that controller is like ghost-driving blind-folded on the highway during rush-hour with a bike that has no handlebar during an earthquake under water on LSD.

Why don't they support my USB mouse and keyboard? What are they trying to convince me of by restricting me to this abomination of a control scheme? I can't get over this.

Another thing is the VOIP feature - I watched quite some H3 clips and even some live feeds to check whether it's a game I should rent out of the desire to try a game everybody praises -- but they are all constantly yelling at each other! I'd get a headache after 30 seconds!

This game is evil, I tell you. There's no way I'm going to even try Halo 3. I don't see any fun aspect in playing it when I have - hey, CSS. Or hey, DoD. Or hey, ETQW. Those games feel right 100% of the time I spend on them.

It's like they say - a 1000 flies can't fail.

And that is why you play with a small group of real-life friends who may yell at each other, but only in good fun :P

1st of all, why didn't he have his chair of doom? He was just getting lazy with his defences.

2nd, she still sucked.

3rd, I meant the flood all over the galaxy, like the shipmaster said, one flood spore can wipe out a planet, and there are flood on all of the halos which MC and the humans didn't destroy.

*SOILER- I mean.. Spoiler*

Unfortunately, I'm an asocial elitist prick with no gaming skills, just like my "friends", by the way.

I'm kidding. I don't have friends with 360s, and I'm not really looking for any. Paying for online service is out of the question anyway because it doesn't make any sense at all from the consumer's standpoint, so as soon as my 1-Month-XBL-Gold-Free-Membership-For-The-Second-Time-Thing is over, 360 multiplayer gaming will be over as well, for a long time. I'm not doing it anyway while I have the opportunity. I'm playing EA skate atm and multiplayer sucks there, so I won't miss a thing. When there's another game that drives me to multiplayer gaming, I'll just go for the free XBL membership again and again, who cares anyway. Sue me. The community is doomed already, so having the same account over a long period of time doesn't give me any benefits. The people who supposedly buy food from XBL fees are stinking rich as it is, no loss. It's P2P networking, why do I have to pay for it? Doesn't make any sense to me. They don't really do anything, what is called service is simply some ftp servers, quality assurance that's uncalled for and a really basic software for crippled networking features noone really needs, like said VOIP. If I want to talk to anyone I meet by chance, I get a headache. If I want to have a nice VOIP flaming session with my buddies, I use my quality non-Microsoft mic with my superior Teamspeak server or any of the dozens of equivalents out there, I'm not bound to this badass headset from Microsoft to hear my buddies. What kind of stupid idea is that, by the way, just transferring the chat over the headset? How am I supposed to wear my headphones that way? Christ!

Could ramble on about this rip-off with shiny wannabe features noone needs forever.

But I won't, I'm probably the billionth gamer who doesn't see a point in paid online services, especially not the overhyped XBL one.

More than 3/4 of the servers I join, everyone is completely silent...

It's a bit creepy.

I've seen and want it.

But I want Guitar Hero 3 more.

But even more than GH3, I want the 5-in-1 pack of Half Life 2, Episode One, Episode Two, Team Fortress 2 and Portal all in one for the XBox 360 for 70 EURO! Quality.

Oh and I want Assassin's Creed more than Halo 3.

And Pro Evolution Soccer 3.

I like a lot of games. I don't think I'm going to have the money to buy Halo 3.

That's not irony, but I understand the sentiment of what you were saying. It sounds cool. I've a football team that me and my friends started up and entered into a league, and it's pretty much the same idea. I'm friends with everyone on the team.
