Those 2 dollars add up. Is it moral to steal a bunch of bananas from the grocery store because they would only get 2 dollars?

Only if they use those two dollars on cocaine or illegal pornography?

80-90% of bands' funds come from sources other than album sales. I find it a very thin line....18 euro to some middlemen and then 2 euro to the actual band? No thanks.

If you send a check directly to the band whenever you pirate a song, then you have more of a case :)

As long as you people don't have another choice, you either "steal" it or use the middleman. That's how it works. And since we've got a monochromoral world, distinguishing which is good and which is bad may seem trivial.

-- "steal" in quotation marks because if you download, you're not actually taking bytes away from them. You might know that, I don't care. And monochromoral is not a word. And buying music from cocaine addicts while cocaine producers are starving is freaking ignorant. I rest my case.

I don't know exactly which part was your case, but it was powerful..
