Its the kids faults they act the way they do, my parents let me watch plenty of graphic things and I've never been arrested I do great in school I'm responsible and play plenty of video games whereas there are other kids whos parents let them watch lots of graphic things and they go do idiotic things, and then there are still others whos parents don't let them watch anything graphic and they can go either way too

I play video games, I read books, sometimes I do the two simultaneously.

I have an IQ of 150.

I'm not a statistic.

Think about it. Here are these people, saying "It's so easy to access this content, it's really bad," when I snuck into R-rated movies about 7 times before I turned 17. Those movies had much more graphic sex and violence than I have ever seen in a video game.

It's also shameful that Fox would let people who are completely ignorant (i.e. people who have never played the game) debate this issue. It's ridiculous and shows a complete bias against videogames.

Hell, their facts weren't even straight. The game features no "full" nudity and it's not like you can "choose what to do during sex". That's just some BS invented by someone who never played the game.
Yeah that part really annoyed me when they titled the news "full digital nudity" and said you could choose what you want to do during sex. David was right, that is going to disappoint a lot of males out there.

And that's really what I mean, video games are just a scapegoat right now until people stop seeing them as children's toys and more like art.

I've got the solution. We've got to kill the kids so they don't bother us anymore. Videogames make me do this HALP

That's completely untrue in a lot of situations. A lot of the causes of people hating certain groups is because their parents hate those people too. Your parents teach you what is right and wrong. It's their duty to imprint onto you the right morals. It's their job. Don't blame the children. It's the duty of the fucking parents. If they weren't cut out for it, they shouldn't have ever had a child.

i just find it completely retarded that fox news could say that its disgusting how kids can simply go on and play their dads game and be told things they shouldnt know, when i, a 14 year old boy goes onto their website everyday and read about storys such as these

TEENAGE BOY RAPES DOG IN UNIMAGINABLE WAYS

MAN FINDS WIFE IN BROTHEL

RAPED SCHOOLGIRL BURNED IN ACID

MAN LOOKS TO BAN TESTICAL CAR ORNAMENTS

and this one from today IOWA MAN STRIPPED OF DUTIES FOR TRAFFIC STOP SEX

god i hate fox, and in response to another post like thing, they told me that will smith was a scientologist...i would stop watching them but its so fun to present said articles above to my English class (ive shared the brothel one and the car one and i told some people about the dog)

Indeed. And isn't it ironic that if you wanted to see the "sex" scene you could quietly click on the Related Videos....

EA strikes back, but it's just as tame as the sex scene in question ;) Enjoy, I did.

Okay, although explaining jokes is stupid, I'll do it for you:
The image shows the cover of Mass Effect, which is the game we're talking about.
But the Amazon.com article it's associated with is a book by Cooper Lawrence, the ignorant cow that calls Geoff Keighley 'darling' and makes uninformed statements about the game in the video linked in the first post.
Some Amazon.com user posted the cover of Mass Effect for the newest book by her as an inside joke.

Alright, forget it, click 'Reply', type LOL, click 'Submit' and move on to save face. Works every time! INTERNET

I can almost predict what will happen when spore comes out:

FOX News Person: LOL I HERE SUM1 HAZ MAED A WALKIN PENIS IN SPORE, OMG FULL FRONTAL MALE NUDITY LOLOLOL NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN (EVIN THO A KID PROBABLY MADE IT) LOLOL SLANDER SLANDER GAMES ARE SPAWN OF THE DEVIL WATCH ME BROADCAST WORSE STUFF INSTEAD.

And if/when that happens, it will be a dark day indeed.

I did enjoy that, thanks.

It was lame when Oblivion went from Teen to Mature rating because somebody made a tits mod. It's like making the movie Barney rated NC-17 because you can easily record porn over it. I can imagine Spore getting all this anti-christ press stuff and controversy over adults making aliens called the fuck bombs that are appearing in little Jimmy's video game.

Yes indeed, if you've misunderstood the actual real meaning of the word "ironic".
Some Guy Who Left A Comment On The Last Video wrote:Fox is just as much a for profit as any other channel. With the general left-leanings of channels such as CNN and MSNBC, Fox essentially "pulled a Wii" and went with a blue-ocean strategy of targeting conservatives. It's the first time they've ever had a real cable network to themselves. Then they released the whole concept of "Fair and Balanced" to try and draw all the conservatives frustrated with liberal media. It was so unlike CNN or MSNBC that conservatives lauded it as being fair to the right-wing. Personally, I can't stand Fox News. But if you think they're going to give up profits from Fox News to be more liberal, or give up profits in their primetime lineup to be more conservative, you're mistaken.
He said it better than I could say it, and better than anyone in this post has said it.

The same subject just came up on another forum that I read; apparently loads of people (524 and counting) have raided Cooper Lawrence's book on Amazon
