CAN'T RECORD PAKOMANZ!!!
Anyway...reminds me of a story: A friend of mine was really into the Pokemon (PAKOMANZ!!!) cartoon. I had invited him and a few other people over for movies and video games and food, so we set up the VCR (This was in the day and age when inviting friends over for pizza, soda, and movies all evening was actually okay and you wouldn't be called homosexual or be accused of rape...) to record PAKOMANZ in the morning...well...instead of PAKOMANZ he got a two hour long infomercial...and he wouldn't let us watch it...I mean seriously, who wouldn't want to watch an infomercial on vacuums and women's hair products?!!!
Stupid bastard, ruining our fun.

I've never noticed the balance issues.

I am aware of them, because everyone goes on about it forever. But even if Mario is a crappy character, he's mine.

yeah i agree with marth being unbalanced, hes fast as hell and has tons of combos. He's my favorite and best, right next to samus who makes me feel like im not just winning cuz i know how to play a broken character well. but to be honest i havent played smash bros. in a really long time against anyone else. mostly because im living in that time that grey was talking about only instead of recording pokemon, we're playing halo/oblivion non stop...well sometimes we watch borat.

No, nothing's unbalanced, everyone just requires a different gameplay style.
Myself, I prefer Roy over Marth.

It's fine if you prefer Roy over Marth... you're just going to get completely destroyed by anyone who knows what they're doing.

The game is unbalanced, it doesn't matter who you prefer to play as. It's true that playing style has something to do with it, but a good Marth user will annihilate a good Roy user.

That's like saying Lugaru's rabbits and wolves are balanced depending on your play style, Glabbit.

lol no it isn't.

Wolves and rabbits are clearly distinct. Roy and Marth is like choosing between the ak and the m4 because of slight differences in, oh I don't even know but everyone will tell you the ak is better.

Hmmm...
I see.

Yes, I used to be good with marth, but I stopped playing for a while and afterwards found Roy easier...

So does that mean My skill has actually decreased when I made that choice? D=

Not necessarily. You're probably not doing 1v1 battles, right? Roy's better in a free-for-all.
